As an aside, but talking about diversification, I was quite impressed with how busy the cbs arena was last Tuesday early evening, with people who obviously weren’t there for the cup game. Seemed to be at least 2 different sets of lanyards around peoples necks ,suggesting business conference/ meetings being held there , and whilst some were leaving others were going to Anecdote for a drink/bite to eat. Indeed after game plenty still in there ,so looked like they were also using hotel as well.
Now I know it was only one night ( and it may still not be busy enough) but it does give me hope that if Wasps can get past the next 2/4 weeks and sort out hmrc and finance issues, the business model with the other income streams is getting there.
