Liked him and watched his US adventure.  Probable a very sensible move.

I expect to see a growing number of younger players opting out for their future health.

It's reports such as this that he has been increasingly putting me off rugby in general, rather than our club's problems in particular. When Zach was KOed by Yarde, my immediate thought was that he was dead. I don't think he's really recovered yet. His form since will have affected the continuance of his career in rugby which may turn out to be a good thing for him (IMO).

There is a significant claim being readied against the RFU and their insurers are very, very nervous about it. Lots of things happening in domestic rugby at the moment and this is one that will likely impact the way clubs train and recover from head knocks in the interests of player welfare as well as costing the RFU a significant sum, meaning less money to be invested in the game (slash spent of ambassadors and their partners!)
