That's kind.  They've had at least 3 Wasps players.

AT least it's not another Premiership team (yet!).

Can't bear the thought of watching a Premiership match that doesn't include a Wasps match.

For the southern-based supporters, like me, it does offer a way to get the rugby fix.

Only thing is I can't, now spend a whole match watching when not sitting down.

Have accepted the ticket offer, and will, probably be there this Saturday.

If any other Wasps will be there will be pleased to meet you. We will be wearing our Wasps shirts.

Received my free season ticket yesterday. Unfortunately I won't be there tomorrow as work beckons but otherwise...

I always wear an Ealing shirt and a Wasps cap (opposite when I used to go to the CBS).

My wife and I have both received ours however it looks like our first visit will be after christmas. Fixtures before christmas clash with other bookings. When we do attend ill wear my Wasps top and look out for fellow waspies.

Is that for one player or two?

I think these moves show how little the clubs understand rugby fans.

How many season tickets did Wasps sell for this season? 1000? Yet how many people could you find in the CBSA at a home match? 8-10k, 20k on a good day.

Those are the people they should be offering consolation tickets to. The ones that actually filled the coffers. But no, we get an empty gesture that they know will only be taken up by a small number in order to make themselves look like they care.

How many clubs fill their stadium week in week out? If I was in charge at a premiership club that always had empty seats I'd be offering free entry to anyone wearing a Wasps or Worcester shirt. Especially the clubs who are hoovering up our players.

Well these free tickets for season ticket holders of doomed clubs is certainly divided opinions.

I'm not going to get all Snowflakery about it but I question their motives and see it as self serving opportunism rather than heart felt charity.

I join in with VV and Coddy.  I'm not a 'snowflake'  but I can't bring myself to watch any sort of rugby at all right now.  Just in mourning I think.  Maybe g/son's club game tomorrow. There gain ........

I couldn't, for example, accept the Tigers offer, as they are another premiership club, who, IMHO, have helped precipitate the demise of my club.

I have accepted the Trailfinders offer because they are, currently, not a Premierahip outfit, and they are now the closest Championship club to where I live. I don't know what will happen when inevitably they get promoted. In fact don't know where they will be playing then.

I know they are seeing this as an opportunity to gain supporters in the medium to long term, and good luck to them.

Personally would have preferred it if the Wasps Amateur side had teams playing at Championship level, but they haven't.

Haven’t been watching Premiership games as no interest in outcome. Have taken in womens World Cup as  sort of neutral .

May well turn on Scotland v Australia ( Amazon prime 5:30 today for anyone not aware) to see how it goes.

As to future , enjoy watching in the flesh, so considering championship side .Probably Bedford as closest . Did look at Ampthill but seems to have too many ties to Saracens.

I've been watching and playing rugby for the past 65 years (I'm now 75) and, like many fellow posters, I find I've lost interest in the game I loved. As someone with mobility problems this leaves a big hole to fill. It's going to feel odd but I'm going to have a look at Quins v Irish this afternoon and see how Josh gets on. It will hurt and I may end up switching off but I probably would have watched it anyway if we were still alive.
