Which is not bad at all, considering how disappointing we were at the Bath game.

Yes, not bad at all and we got the W. Onwards and upwards. We should find the contract stuff is much clearer by the Bristol game which hopefully will settle things a little also.

I do feel Daly needs to be dropped though. Whether it’s due to trying too hard or because he’s off at the end of the season he’s just not been performing for ages now. I’d play Neal and Basset.

The problem is that of nine people who went from our village today, two adults were season ticket holders, four adults paid £5 each, one under sixteen and an under ten went free and the other under ten was on a free season ticket.

So of nine people the actual outlay on the day was £20 (plus the two already paid for season tickets).

Now I'm not in marketing (I'm actually a geologist) so I really hope that there is some clever plan behind this.

Did they buy food and drink? Did they enjoy themselves? Will they come again? Could they consider hospitality for a birthday?

Well four of them are long term Tigers fans, but as I say I'm not in marketing.

£20 from 9 people, plus any food/drink they may buy is presumably better that £0 from 0 people

Assuming they wouldn't otherwise go, and they weren't taking seats from people who would pay for them there's no harm.

Getting people inside the stadium is the biggest hurdle, most of the costs of running a game won't increase if a few 1000 more people turn up. So even if they buy one drink between them it's money in the bank.

I do work in Marketing for what it's worth.

So we get 4 fans of opposition, to pay to see us play at home, and not even against their team. That sounds pretty good to me!
