MM - Given that he hasn't played for so long and its not been officially announced that he ever recovered I doubt any club would have offered him a contract.

Its probably linked to Wasps contractual obligation on paying sick pay and quite possibly MM being fed up with rehab and wants a break from the club to do his own thing for a few months to then try and find a playing or coaching contract elsewehere.

Loads of maybes here...mine is perhaps he has to prove his fitness at another club before the start of next season.
