1. He has 12 on in several of the clips
2. He has been rumoured to be coming in for much longer than Daly has been rumoured to be leaving.

IF Daly is leaving, he may have told Dai a long time ago, to give him time to recruit someone like Fekitoa. Watching back, yes, in a couple of clips he is in the 12 shirt.

Clearly Dai sees him as either a 12 or 13.

Had higher offers from elsewhere, though not the Prem. Presumably he didn't want to move too far away from his comfort zone again.
