They've definitely come up with some impressive signing/re-signing announcements, which a few other clubs have tried to emulate (including us)

A professional sports team spending millions on player wages is just the kind of organisation film studios would go for with a copyright suit isn't it? I don't know how the law views tweeting GIFs?

The longer clips are potentially dubious, but using gifs and very short clips usually falls within "fair use" which is excluded from copyright law.
