When asked how soon will he be back, he tweeted:

Not long😉. Final stretch, fine tuning the hips before I get back dancing.

I get the feeling Jimmy is not far either.

He also put up a 'dancing queen' video of him doing side steps etc on Instagram stories yesterday so looking to be getting close.

How Rieder bounces back could well determine how active we are in the market for a Hughes replacement.
If Rieder can progress like Guy Thompson did and if Morris can do the same, between them Jack Willis, of course Nizaam Carr and the emergence of Tom Willis I believe we are well set, primarily at 8 but also at 6

Which could mean we splash cash elsewhere....
2nd row, wing, fb for me, not necessarily in that order, although I would be happy uf we had another young, promising ten.

Really pleased with this. He always seems like a top bloke and has had a couple of horrid injuries.

As everything had gone quiet I was nearly fearing the worst.

I hope he can get back to some of the form that he had. He can cover across the whole back row and as other have said with Tom Willis coming into the squad more we should be covered for next year.

What I like about him is how he always makes decent ground in the carry.

He’s got that talent you want from a 8 in that (bar the Scotland Williamson tackle from 2 years ago) he doesn’t go backwards when he gets tackled. Usually makes an extra few yards. He could very possibly replace Nate as our big ball carrier next season if he recovers
