Where's Rob Henderson when you need him. Probably having a smoke outside Domino's.

On reflection, if the club and Jacob both feel that his future is at 10, then this may be a good time to get some exposure.

However, I don't know how Carnegie will feel about us taking him for a few games and then maybe wanting to send him back to continue getting game experience.

If his future is to be at full back, then he should stay at Carnegie to continue his loan spell

It may have taken a former all black 10 ages to adjust, but that won't mean it takes everyone ages to adjust.
Cipriani (sorry) walked into Glaws and they clicked in seconds. Ten is harder than most positions, sure, but some of our previous tens looked at home quite quickly after arriving.

It is generally assumed that SH players take a bit of time bedding into the NH game. Some positions and some players take longer than others and some never really manage it all. Even Craig Dowd, with 60 AB caps, was a slow starter with us in 2001. By the time he left 4 years later he was a legend.

Wishful thinking but perhaps Dai can get on the phone and intercept https://extra.ie/2019/02/15/sport/rugby/dan-carter-return, that would put bums on seats .....
It was fine when I left it.....

Presumably even they, including cipriani, had some preseason time, not a week until the next game?

Yeah, it would take a bit more than a game.
Thinking back, Carr joined us mid season injury replacement, played in the development cup at Swansea, and was lighting up the prem in a couple of weeks. Different position of course, but it has been done.

Dan Carter about to try it at Racing, although he has been in their system before, and having watched French rugby recently not much structure to learn!
