Gabriel Oghre (with a 'g') would come first. I imagine Alfie will be off to uni, hopefully Warwick or Coventry (to allow him to train easily with the Academy lads). But, as soon as he is free to play full time, he would be a first choice pick.

On the 9's, if true, can't say Hampson has stepped up when given the opportunity so i can live with this change.

26 year old full back Kyle Moyle from Cornish Pirates to Wasps. At 5'11" and 90kgs he is not small, at least. Their coach rates him as the best full back in the Championship with 11 tries already this season. That's the rumour, but he signed a two year deal only in December?

Is Dai trying to build a bit of depth in the backs? I wonder if Owain James is off? Do we only offer a one year contract when moving from the academy to the main squad, as he only signed for this year? Or is he going to replace WLR?

unsubstantiated but half decent source tells me 4 full time contracts to be handed out. 2 fwd 2 back from current u18s. Plus a few uni contracts.

England U18 training squad announced:

Anjo Ademuwagun (Wasps) Harrow School
Zac Nearchou (Wasps) Radley College
Jude Williams (Wasps) Caterham School

Barbeary probably not far off an U20 call up.
In Alex Shaw’s recent article about the top 3 u18s this season in each position,  Ademuwagun, nearchou and Barbeary were included as well as blindside flanker Alfred Mawdsley.

Should all be in with a good shout as well as Tunney and an outside back or two depending on their ages of course, know a fair few of the u18s are still u17

So on that basis poss my source “misheard” - and 3 fds and 1 back. The buzz around Barbeary suggests full time and not a uni contract despite his age or Sarries would be sniffing around him. Mate who was at Allianz on Sunday though the FB Bacon looked ou best back so he may b one of uni contracts boys.
