As an aside, when someone told me who James' mum was I almost fell off my stool..

I must admit to a moment of surprise when I found out too.

I know this is hugely unlikely.... BUT

If Shaun Edwards was to return, what odds would you get on DC returning too?

If I recall, Shaun and Danny are close, and Shaun was his mentor.
DC has, I believe, a 1 year contract at Gloucester (or at the very least, a break clause after 1 year)
Wasps have already shown that they're happy to rotate Lima and Billy Searle at 10, and a lot of people have discussed the possibility of Lima at 12 (based on, I think, 1 AB's game where he was moved when no replacements were available and the game was already won)

Could we really see a backline next season of Robson, Cipriani, Bassett, Lima, Fekitoa, Winger Unknown, Miller
With a bench of Vellacott, JdJ and Umaga

Has a player ever done 3 separate stints for the same club?
Can Lima really be considered a 12?
I doubt we could genuinely rotate Lima and Danny at 10, and I'm not sure I see Cipriani as a front line option at 15 after so long
We'd probably have the salary cap space to handle it, unless we sign Savea and/or NMS
Would Booooo be able to handle the excitement of Danny returning again?
Umaga would be spoilt for choice learning from Gopperth, Lima and Danny

Back to reality, it's probably Joe Worsley, which I'd be very happy with

The name who will not be spoken will not return I think we can be certain of that.

Also think Worsley more likely given contract position of both. Also would think someone who has recent day to day involvement might be better - if anything happens!

If we are playing "guess a new coach" game then Worsely seems to fit, he's out of contract this summer, he brings experience of a different coaching environment (i.e. not an internally promoted player to coach - which I'm not a fan of).. he will (as will all prospective new coaches) have been told about the plans for a new training facility.

Well wasps that has taken it to another level. This is real close season stuff!

I was mostly just having a laugh.

I do prefer the idea of Edwards coming in than Gatland.
I loved what Gatland did for the club and I loved seeing us win all the trophies.

But, I love Dai, and while some may not agree with all of his decisions, and may feel that he's sometimes "too nice", I don't see what's wrong with supporting a "nice" club.
I like the idea of the top man being publicly approachable, and a genuine nice person.

The persona of the club is lead from the top, and I can't think of anyone other than Dai that I would want generating that persona.
Everything would be different with Gatland as the main man. Not necessarily better or worse - just different.

I really like the idea of Dai and Shaun - providing they can work together.
Obviously, we already know that Gatland and Shaun have a great working relationship

Hmm, earlier reports here suggested that Wigan wasn't locked in place: https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/rugby/rugby-news/shaun-edwards-reveals-future-not-15682876

Suggests there's definitely flexibility in the contract, a radio interview he did a few days ago seems to confirm that he sees Wigan as an option, more than the absolute.

Perhaps the real big news is that Heather Small is going to sing 'Proud' in the changing room before the next game!

Bigger news might be if they chose to play "Ode to Joy" after a try

I like the inference and Beethoven's 9th is one of my favorite pieces of classical music, but as it is the official anthem of the EU, perhaps not!

Given Wasps performances of late it might be better if she put some boots on and played in the match!!
