Morning all, agreed it's going to be a tough day with a spirited performance and no injuries. This is one of these days today with no pressure and expectations where you can appreciate the quality of some of the opposition players on show and enjoy what I am sure will be a noisy travelling support.

« on: January 19, 2019, 08:35:37 AM »I think we need to be erm realistic about Gopps he's 36 in June. And it's really hard to maintain vo2 max to compete with 25 year olds even without injury for 12 months. I would love to see him play a few games before he takes up a back room role with us.
I could see Gopps at 15 next year given the role of jumping in at first / second receiver or wider as he sees it, Fekitoa providing a more direct option at 12 and probably jdj at 13.

This is a genuine question because I'm not that up on Bath's wider squad
I was thinking that, the only forwards I could see on their website currently who came through their academy seem to be Catt and Dunn.
The obvious answer Zach Mercer gets a QI style buzzer as from Glasgow Academy!

Going to need to make sure there is competition at the breakdown as Sale have good genuine 7s and also keep an eye on Faf around that area as there were a number of breaks through the breakdown against us last year.
