Title: Tonights games (spoilers inside)
Post by: Raggs on September 04, 2020, 06:38:07 PM
So Wuss actually giving Bristol a game! Let's hope they can hold on, 10-7 now, and they've been in the ascendancy I'd say.

Chiefs scrape a win at Franklin’s Garden despite a resurgent Saints during the latter part of the first half - they did secure a (deserved) LBP though. Let’s hope Quins (with the limited home crowd) get a win against Bath tomorrow.

Bring on tomorrow! COYW!

Good explanation on bt sport in exe v saints game about something which has been mentioned recently on here as increasing, namely attacking players diving in off their feet at a ruck which luke Pearce in one instance tonight he said he wasn't penalizing.
Referees have agreed that if the attacking rucker goes off their feet to remove a defensive player who is slow to roll away then they won't be penalised, if they seal off the contest they will.

Interesting that in Chris Boyd’s post match interview when asked about prospects for finishing top 4 he conceded it is now unlikely for Saints - quite the emotive statement with 3 more games to go for them.

Anyone notice how much noise the saint's extras were making? Clearly Wasps had a big old influence on that.

Seems reasonable, as long as they're consistent across all refs.

“Seems reasonable, as long as they're consistent across all refs.“

There is the rub ...

Exeters defence was phenomenal. It wasn't really there first up picks either.
