Bobby Bridge speculates ;)

Malakai Fekitoa, Jeff Toomaga-Allen and Ben Vellacott to attend kit unveiling.
I hope they'll bring one big enough for JTA :)

I hope they'll have one big enough for Sting!

I find it interesting that last seasons kit is referenced as a hooped shirt (I guess because that's what Wasps wanted it to be). I never thought of it as such because the bands on the front and back didn't actually wrap around like a hoop.

I think we're in for a largely black number - something like the previous year but perhaps with a tad more gold (and hopefully a tad more silver!).
-
And now it has been announced it will. Be launched at Coventry Motor Museum. Tickets available to be there.

Headshot of Bassett in the new shirt?
Edit. Brad on twitter too:

-
Looks black. Not bad so far. Closer to Clermont types over recent years.
-
I think Brad is wearing a waterproof training top
-
I don't think he is, you can see the lettering of Wright Hassall on the shoulder which I don't recall being on the training tops... Interesting to note on twitter a black and gold theme to collar and shoulder on the this year's away shirt... Full hoops?
-
Yeah you could be right, just to me looks too baggy to be a fitted top. I would love a full hoops shirt, would be interesting to see how sales differ between full hoops and no hoops (assuming the home kit doesn't have hoops)
-
Now Juan in the away kit:

Hoping from photos that away shirt is inverse of the home. Ie yellow and black shoulder details. Ie inverse of 2002/03 home shirt

Well not long to wait now, think its being released at 9am
-
I'm hoping for a nice looking away kit judging by that picture of Juan!

Bugger it. I've got to spend all morning in hospital out patients. Have to be gone from my desktop before 0900 >:(
-
ahaha the perks of being a student means I can order one when they come out! the cons is I'll have to pick up a few more shifts at the pub to pay for it ;D
-
The perk of being on holiday this week is I could buy one straight away. The reason I'm on holiday (sorting the house for a new baby) however means I can't afford to!

Plus one.
I hope you had your sleep stored up, fora are ideal for babies.... the dreaded 3 am "Morning all".
-
Thanks! Looking forward to 9 tomorrow!
Good news is baby is due in the middle of the world cup at least! :)

Should I change my name to Mystic AK ?
-
Both kits look great to me. Much better than last year.
-
Much prefer the high vis all yellow away kit. So much more Wasps than white.
And I'll claim a prediction point too!

Can’t quite make out who we’re sponsored by this year!!!
-
It doesn’t look as bad as I thought it would, but I do wish they had gone with just the white outline…
I am weirdly ambivalent about the home kit. Feels too much like they’ve sat down and gone “so… where can we move the strips now” doesn’t look different enough for me.
I do, however, love the away kit. Really nice! And the all black sponsor logo is really smart!
All that said, I will probably end up buying both! HAHA
-
I'm rather disappointed by the lack of full hoops, the home kit will be my purchase
-
I went from not buying a shirt to now wanting to buy one !! I like the away shirt the most :)
-
I suspect there may well be a "euro kit" or some other special, maybe charity, kit at some point in the season. The sort of thing that allows a kit designer to go a bit over the top.
-
Like the home kit - very 1993-ish
The away kit - on screen its a tad radio active - I'll wait to see it in the flesh
Can't wait for the season now!
-
Really Like the Home kit not so sure about the away. I think it could be a bit Marmite
-
Like both but would have prefered the red blob on the away kit as well.
-
I think I like both, but, like mike909, I'll reserve final judgement on the away kit until I see it properly.
-
I’m really happy with both kits, think they’re both sharp and smart.
Also happy with the away kit, feels like a good change from the recent white reverse shirts while staying true to Wasps
-
Like them both. So much better than last year.
No Dell/EMC2 logo I can see (unless it’s on the back). Have they left us as a sponsor? Would be a shame - EMC2 were with us since 2009 just after Magners as main shirt sponsor I think. Maybe after the Dell merger the sponsorship was never going to be renewed?
-
I don't dislike the kit, but it feels a little pain.
If it wasn't for the vodaphone logo, it would be incredibly bland below the shoulders.
I think I would have liked a little detailing down the sides
-
"The performance-enhancing kit incorporates Under Armour’s innovative ArmourGrid™ technology, which makes it near-impossible to grab players, allowing them to slip tackles and break contact."
We should see a massive improvement in tries-scored next season.

Always good to have another mini-Wasp to indoctrinate! The Ricoh is very baby-friendly too...

Dell Technologies are listed as a main partner on the club website still so guessing it's below the collar on the back again.

Hoping to be back again after New Year with possibly half season tickets. Got plenty of friends in Wycombe for lifts too (and spare tickets in the meantime).

Have to admit, my conservative tastes and my non six pack figure mean I will pass. I mean I am eleven ish stones, not exactly fat, and yet with modern shirts I feel pretty much like the stay-puft marshmallow man. Should something made of cotton with a collar pop up in similar colours, count me in.
-
11 stones Mr WestWales? I was last that weight as a 15 year old prop!
With my now "ex prop" figure - a loose black shirt is exactly what the fashion experts suggests....whereas a bright gold fitted shirt, might be "bold"
-
Elevenish......
Everyone was bigger than me from about teenage years. I think props get away with wearing whatever they want rugby shirt wise, ex props too. Technically it is Dr. Eleven ish stone WwW, but either way I don't think the shirt will do me any favours....
-
For info, the tops have DS Smith & Dell Technologies on the back. Picked up an away shirt today, proper one despite the non athletic physique, as I usually get the Authentic shirt, interestingly I think this is the 1st one that actually has a GPS pocket on it.

Even as "big lad" - loose and black is definitely better than hi viz fitted!

Adding to my previous post after listening to the Any Sting Goes podcast with Pudsey, this is the 1st time they have had the sensor pockets in the tops from Under Armour despite asking for them for a few years, therefore the players can stop wearing the 'sports bra's' they have in recent years to hold the sensors.
