Every day that goes by the more I think we were given a load of bullshit for a very long time

The PL are also to blame, how can you be head Of an organisation and allow your assets to be run in the manner that allows potentially 1/4 of them to go bust

I must admit I think Baxter is right, we totally messed up our finances, we gave ourselves a massive debt and put everything on black and it was red.
I'm finding it very hard to understand that we could have got debts of over £100m, you can't get away with such poor mismanagement and not expect to pay the ultimate price with such a high level gamble.
Originally I was upset with the PL but we can't get away with what we did and that should apply to every club

Wasps Rugby Discussion / Re: BB - Administrator Confident
« on: October 19, 2022, 09:41:51 AM »On a parallel issue - I've been a regular contributor to comments on rugby in the Guardian. I've not commented since our problems became apparent. I do want to post something but have been put off by the various comments from people who'd prefer to rely upon what they think they know rather than the reality. Posters that I've had adult conversations with who now want to diss Wasps...
The reality that some of their clubs are only in good financial health because of rich benefactors doesn't seem a factor. And the reality that suggests Wasps were some sort of parasite in Coventry and that our demise was almost deserved.
If we could put a statement together - I'd probably post it but I can't face posting on the Guardian rugby as it's all too raw at present. Rugby fans would only be supportive, surely? It probably demonstrates that there are twats everywhere!
Amen to that I'm afraid

RFU are not interested in helping Wasps as it doesn't meet their current agenda, which I'm sure will change in 6 months time. The administrator was saying similar thinks about Worcester and still nothing 2 weeks later and 50% of the squad are gone.

Interesting to know why none of the offers acceptable, were the offers to low or was DR being to greedy

Staff and players all made redundant, we will now have the joy of seeing our players signing for different clubs over the coming days and weeks. I'm so gutted and starting to get very angry, really upset how poor this has been. My cats better stay away from me tonight

I found it hilarious that a 23 year old was playing on a key board in his mums room on a Friday night.

How can the league expect to get a 10 team league if you can’t get 10 teams to afford them

For me we were told so many lies, we were losing millions before Covid, the directors didn’t have a clue how to turn it around. They borrowed money on something they didn’t know how it works properly.
Making enemies and not seeing the bigger picture, is difficult to except.
The richest club tag was embarrassing more so now.
The other clubs are gunning for us they desperately want a bigger P share. How Sarries got away with what they did I will never forget or forgive. As regards to supporting another team, yes definitely anyone playing Sarries

I'm becoming more and more sure that Simon really hasn't got a clue. 14 clubs was always sort sighted, so lets try the other way and see what happens. He really doesn't come across at all well or really believes what he is saying. I don't understand that if you can prove that you have a viable bid from another party why does the P share have to be removed
