Ha! Like it Wombles. I’m full of optimism for this season. As Wasps fans I think we’ll experience the unusual scenario of dominating up front and in turn our backs will produce. A fit Mills. A skilful SA import and a great youngster at 12 transforms us there and Spink at 13 looked good in pre-season (although we could do with another option there). Our biggest problem back row wise is how to keep all involved. Looking forward to it and hopeful for a good season.

Glaws will be galvanised ahead of the game. Their squad is strong, very few injury concerns and a great turnout out yesterday for Ed Slater. We won down there last year but I worry about the number of key players that we will be missing this time around.

BT Sport 1. 2.00 pm. Live. Glaws v Wasps.

Our pack will suffer for the first few games until we have integrated the new players and Koch, Stooke and the injured loose heads return.

Anyone going to the Glaws game? We are.
Looking forward to it - think we look good from pre-season and have some optimism about the game!
