Wasps Rugby Discussion / No confidence in RFU
« on: July 31, 2023, 03:29:24 PM »
Apparently outgoing RFU Council Chairman Jeff Blackett tabled a motion of no confidence in the governance of the RFU in a meeting in the middle of July which was approved.

Yet, bar coverage by Nick Cain in the Rugby Paper this weekend there is absolutely no coverage of this anywhere at all?

Quite extraordinary.

Scotland v Italy this Saturday. Anyone know if Paolo may get picked?

Was offered a family of four ticket for 52 quid for this match - RFU take note.

England v Fiji - ?45 for an adult to watch a World Cup warm up match vs a Tier 2 nation. Laughable. Lots of tickets available and doesn't look like they've opened the Upper Tier.

Paolo not included vs Scotland. Perhaps will get a chance against Ireland next week.

'We are extremely grateful for the loyal support and concern from our global fan base. Our silence has been deliberate and necessary. Firstly, we had nothing definitive to say that couldn?t have changed the following day, and often did, and secondly, we only recovered our social media accounts and rebuilt a new web site in the first week of May. You will hear more from us soon.'
