Wasps Rugby Discussion / Re: Ex Wasps signing for new clubs
« on: June 06, 2023, 02:29:19 PM »
Bordeaux (Tim W & Gabby) came from behind to see off Lyon (Sopoaga) in the play off to face La Rochelle in the semi.
Racing (Wade, although haven't seen him playing for them for a while, is he injured?) beat Stade (Paulo, Biyi) to face Toulouse in the other semi.

Could still see a Willis vs Wills final....:)

I think Biyi is a Racing as well isn't he?

Correct - was rumoured to be going to Ealing next season but don't think that's been confirmed anywhere.

Paolo confirmed as leaving Stade, as well as Koch (does he count as an ex-Wasp?). Both were signed as medical jokers so not massively surprising.

Almost certainly a bit premature but... how long would Spink need to play over in Australia before he's eligible for a Wallabies call up?

Isn?t it 5 years now? A little while away?

Sam Spink the stand out player for Western Force again today, end of their season now though, I wonder where next for him after a great Super Rugby season.

Sam signed for 2 years.

Believe Zach was only signed up for 1 though.

Wonder if any players with offers on the table will look to move between now and 6 June

Our exit from the Rugby Football Union
You will hear more from us soon

That was my line of thinking Heathen. Seems to be a very deliberate choice of words. But I shan't get my hopes up.

I'll probably find a club in the Top 14 to follow, likely Pau as that's where Dobby is.
I was thinking of doing the same. A far better product than Premiership Rugby.

Breaking - Wasps have had their Championship licence revoked and demoted to the bottom of the English rugby league pyramid

A new Facebook page also from the looks of it. The old one has disappeared.
