Wasps Rugby Discussion / Re: Wade to Exeter - TRP Rumour
« on: May 27, 2022, 07:59:53 PM »
One of my all-time favourite players and one I'd love to see come back.... however, if I were Christian would I want to come back to Wasps? - not a chance!

When he left we had a back line that scored tries for fun, could terrorise defences and could strike in numbers from anywhere on the field - now we have a back line we try not to let have the ball in case one of them throws it on the floor or gives it back to the opposition. :-\

I really hope I'm wrong but I just don't see him being a good fit with us at the moment and almost every other premiership club looks to be a better prospect.
Really?
Sadly, yes. From an opposition point of view I don't think there's another premiership back line that scares me less.

Kids are already playing Gorilla Tag. Didn't know about Asgard Wrath but if it streams from a PC my old laptop probably isn't up to it anyway.

I've got one! Bought it just before Christmas and the whole family absolutely love it.
My kids (14 and 21, strange names I know) have grown up in the CGI age so never had the cinematic experiences that I had like the big spaceship flying over at the start of Star Wars or the first scene with the big brachiosaurus in Jurassic Park. These were 'normal' scenes for them, not the jaw on floor moments they were for me.
The nearest thing for them has been the total immersion experiences that have come from the Oculus.
Watching sports has been great too, just a shame there's been no rugby (yet).
As a family, Acron and Keep Talking And Nobody Explodes have been great, and solo it's  been The Room and Eleven that have kept us fighting over the headset.
If you haven't already, setting up Sidequest is worthwhile.

Contractors are moving into Allianz Park next week to start work raising the pitch by 10ft at one end - Clearly the EAs still aren't keen on competing on a level playing field! :P :P

I thank you ;)
