Very excited by that, Cruse, Gopperth and Willis can come on and steady the ship if needed.

Rather good that selection.

Rather, I'll say. Built for speed and defence.

I see Tigers have some magic on their wing.

Leicester's right winger might have a few tricks up his sleeve! :)

Strong Wasps selection but do not write off Tigers.

They have shown some spirit recently and with new players coming in they will want to impress their new DOR.

I can’t wait.😀

No room for complacency I agree, but...

Tigers have one narrow, low scoring win at home to Irish since the restart and 0 league points with 21 tries conceded from the other 4 games.  On the strength of results alone they are rock bottom of the league with only Sarries' misdemeanors keeping them up, and they're there for a reason.  Their squad got weaker during the break, and the handful of internationals they managed to cling on to are rested for this one (except Genge).  I'm sure I'm not alone in saying anything less than 5 points tomorrow will be a big disappointment after the heroics of the last 2 games.

Solid team. I can’t remember who, but someone here had calculated the number of minutes played by each player over the rolling last 3 games. Would be great to have an update if possible.

Quite an interesting selection for Tigers. Wonder how Dickson and Captain Genge will get along...

I see Tigers have some magic on their wing.

Beat me to it!! :)

Is it too much of a coincidence that he was born in 1997 when the first book came out. Can parent’s be that cruel?  ;D

Good to see Brookes and Young Young back. Strong selection, I fancy we'll do well.

With the amount of rotation we did against Sarries, I believe we'll more or less be able to pick who we want for Bristol.

Miraculous recoveries from Brookes and Oghre, hope we’re not risking Willis if he has a slight knock. Maybe Douglas will be first choice replacement in the backrow until a second row needs to be changed.

Good to see Spink back as well, another potential star there if he can stay fit

Willis has a tight calf, Oghre must have passed the HIA protocols, what was wrong with Brookes again?

Shoulder - looked like a dislocation at the time but clearly not that bad.
Young back from HIA protocols as well but thought Oghre might have been out for a while.

Looking forward to seeing Barbeary unleashed with a bit of freedom from the backrow

Yes, as a former teacher, I saw more than a few. A girl I taught in Leamington had the name Jenna Taylor (you have to think a bit on that one). You would have thought it an uncommon name, but it isn't. Must be my twisted mind.

In my year at school, Mr and Mrs Hood's son, Robin.

I've met a Mike Hunt. He swore he met a Phillip Micheal Hunt.

I went to school with a Mark Hunt.

Anyway, back to the team - I would have swapped Oghre and Barbeary around. Gabby really impressed from the back row recently.

Just imagine, they could swap during the game at any time to confuse the tigers players.

Think it gives Barbeary chance to play without having to worry about scrum time or line outs. He’ll have the freedom to just roam around making tackles, hitting rucks and getting his hands on the ball more.

Tom Cruse must be absolutely battered after Sarries so the longer he can stay on the bench the better I think

Does his son now play scrum half for Bristol??

I've met a few people with embarrassing names, but they all pale into insignificance next to the guy I met who was given the name Fuk Yu Tu.

Thing is, that's a different language, these things happen.  But meeting someone with English speaking parents naming their kids like Mike Hunt etc, you have to wonder.

If Tom Cruse and Jimmy play no more than 20 minutes and Si Mac doesn't have to do more than 75, the whole squad are eligible for the entire Bristol game.

I was anticipating players like Launch, Brad,  Dobby and Jacob to be on the bench to keep them fresher for 2 games in 4 days but I suspect the plan is to blitz the Tigers early and bring players off if we can get a substantial lead.

Surprised Lima isn't involved. The backs may be a bit different for Bristol given this selection.

Lima’s out with a hamstring isn’t he?
