His eye injury, though not I understand to be rugby related, would have been enough to put the wind up anyone.

Wasps Rugby Discussion / "The Double". 2 DVD set.
« on: February 02, 2024, 11:46:42 AM »
I want to give my 2 DVDs, Heineken Cup Winners 2004 & Zurich Premiership Champions 2003-04,  to a Wasps fan. I'm not selling them but I would appreciate the recipient to make a donation to the RNLI which is my charity of choice. I leave the amount of the donation up to you but suffice to say the 2 DVDs are on sale on Amazon for ?39.98. As my DVD player has died, I cannot test them. Please send me a PM, with your name and address and I will send them to you. If I get more than 1 reply then I will chose the winner by lot. They will be available for 1 week until February 9th.
Ross.

I do wonder if some of the guys who seem to be flourishing, Maasi-White, Opoku-Fordour, Feyi-Waboso, Fisilau, Miller-Mills, were still at Wasps how much actual game time would they have got?
Fisilau for example, would he really have forced his way into a back row of Brad, Jack, Tom, Alfie, Nizaam ?
Dont think Feyi-Waboso got a prem start for Wasps did he?
Miller-Mills was always a 3rd or 4th choice at Wasps now he's in the Scotland squad.

Fair point, bp.

Alfie Barbeary seems to be turning into a penalty  machine  -  yellow card right at the beginning of the match and  a red at the end.  I  used  to hold him in high esteem, until he decided to play at 8.  Now he  seems to make  bad  decisions and has become a bit of a plonker.  Shame.

FWIW: Red was due to a second yellow at the end of the game. He also scored a try. Didn't watch, so cannot comment on the actual cards themselves.

Not tearing it up financially. ?5m loss apparently.

According to Wikipedia, Stephen Lansdown is worth ?1.72 billion. If the club continues to lose 5 million per annum then he will go broke in 344 years. :o :o :o

I was very surprised when Charlie went to Tigs. However, he needed a job. I never thought he'd fit on there and so it has proved.
