Seems reasonable ,though perhaps a vets match at the end might have been entertaining!

For a sanction of an offence that is a really interesting approach and I really like the idea. You never know he may enjoy it and look to go into refereeing in the future or he won't but will gain a respect of how hard it is.

Refs v invitational side charity season opener or end of season?

Both have their attractions! Maybe openers, with the option of repeat offenders having to reappear at end of season.
