Just over an hour.
Team changes already posted so no Koch or T Willis. Replacements won't let us down but we are weaker without Tom.
Just been circled by three red kites on A14 not had that since Adams Park days. Omen?

I miss the red kites

We regularly see Red Kites above us now (South Warwickshire), so they are spreading further every year.

Seeing who is bidding, with the limited funds they have, and that they want to do the deal AFTER Wasps go in to administration, I can see Wasps getting the same short replies that Worcester did. Suspension, relegation.
As soon as it goes into administration, all the lien holders will call on those, the Council will terminate the rental on the arena and the entire house of cards will come tumbling down.
Not sure I can bring myself to watch this game. The players must already know and already be thinking about moving on. If I was any contractor supplying services and goods for today's match on credit, I would be asking for payment right now, or walk out with my staff.
-
Sound system faulty we are hearing buzzing
-
That’s just too many top players missing, going to be a long afternoon
-
D'oh! First penalty given away within 20 seconds.
-
It’s just amazing the volume of penalties we give away. We are getting overpowered
-
Yes, Jack! Tears in my eyes...
-
Carr take a bow, great run
-
Ben Morris out for a while.
-
Another back row out.
-
Curran on.
-
Well spotted Mr Mills
-
Luckily the team doesn’t listen to me, as I was shouting take the 3 points

Certainly doesn't look that way to me. It's match day. Can we not just put all the financial uncertainty and associated bullshit to one side and enjoy the game for what it is?
The withdrawal of Koch and Willis is unrelated to any of that, as I'd the injury to Morris, but the team look galvanised by all of that adversity.

Somebody shut Biggar up can hear him from here.
-
Wow great kick

That 50 m pen might!
-
This sounds a very nasty niggle match
-
Buggering about in the last 1-2 mins of the half and they score from nothing.

Yes indeed. Put it into touch.
-
So we are 7 points up at half time at home, but my bets on Northampton are offering me 150% payout!
-
Running out of scrum half people now

Who is going to be staying in the dressing room? Biggar probably, Robson possibly.
-
Is it even a game if Biggar is not hobbling and chopsing!
-
Wasps very much the better side throughout that first half. Could've done without that brain fart at the end. Need an 80 minute performance and we can win this comfortably. The season to date does little to reassure me that we might get it, but we have to turn that around at some point.
-
Bad interviewed on a bat at half time. Reckons he’s going to be another 4 or 5 weeks.

Unusual twist to your standard rodeo

Brad on BT, obviously 🤬
-
Launch missing
-
That was a Brad start
-
How is Biggar still on
-
Not a good start to 2nd half.
-
Cardall and Porter on.
-
Refl lost it on breakdown
-
Disappointing at the end to concede a try, a bit sloppy.
First 10 minutes was a concern but we seem to have more energy after that. Hopefully we can keep that up in the 2nd half.
Please not too many Substitutions over a short period of time and lose momentum.
-
Angry Dan off.
-
Paulo starting to make an impact. Searching for work and getting his leg drive going in the tackle.
-
Two big interventions from Odogwu!
-
Bonus point try
-
Try of the season from Atkinson. Stunning!
-
That is outstanding by Atkinson. And Bassett did very well in support too.
-
30-14
-
Somehow managed to avoid them checking Willis for a block in the build up too
-
Too easy break back
-
This where we become dangerous … to ourselves.
-
Crowd getting vocal, good to hear.
-
Big boot from umaga
-
Jacob a red then plus a stretcher?
-
Jacob in big trouble here.
-
Umaga takes Skosan out in the air, no doubt its a red and a penalty try
-
Not only killing ourselves off the pitch doing ourselves injurywise on it.
-
It is a red, fair enough.
But Jacob hasn't even tried to tackle at that point, he's still watching the ball trying to get into position for where it'll come down.
The other guy is in the air and wipes umaga out when he's not even looking
However, under current rules, it's up to Jacob to make sure he knows where he is in relation to other players
-
No arguments with that, but do we make life difficult for ourselves
-

Not only that, but he's injured himself in the process.
-
Umaga walking off the pitch at least
-
It is bum clenching here
-
We might have won this
-
Jeez
-
Being done by kick offs!!
-
How do we do it to ourselves
-
Looks like McDonald is even worse than Launchbury at restarts.
-
Shit shit shit
-
That final pass was forward. But the TMO "checked it", so apparently all OK.
-
FFS
-
Oh FFS.
FFS!
-
Defeat snatched from the jaws of victory, again!
-
Two tries conceded from dropped restarts and a man down has cost us. Just not good enough
-
Jeez, how ffs. Going to pub.
-
McDonald bloody hell, catch the fucking ball. What is wrong with us. It wasn’t even a difficult catch. 2 trys in 2 minutes
-
Feel for Jacob as I thought he did ok today but his red has cost us. Starting to feel like he’s a red card waiting happen
-
I cant blame Jacob. The stupid try conceded before half time left us open to this.
-

He may well get the proverbial book thrown at him this time.
-
6-8 week ban for Jacob, no idea what he thought he was trying to do
-
The usual implosion. Saints fans with me in shock just can't believe what happened. I can
-
6-8 week ban for Jacob, no idea what he thought he was trying to do
The problem was that he wasn’t thinking. He should have known a Saints player would be going to compete for the ball and never looked round.

He knew exactly what he was doing in taking the player out. How he thought if he did he would get away with that is beyond me.

When we had a penalty well into Saints' territory in the final ten or so minutes, we went for a 5 metre line out. Why? We were ahead, we'd scored 4 tries and didn't need another. W H-W was on and he has a good boot, why not go for the posts? From my recollection, though by no means a gimme, it wasn't that difficult either. Instead we make a bollocks of the line out and get nothing. Launch and Dan were off. Who was skipper? That was the time to calm things down and THINK. Take all the time you have for the kick. Even if we miss, they probably have to drop out and we could well get the ball back in their half. I thought then we were going to lose the game.

From what I could tell Jack was skipper, or it least he was having conversations with the ref.
I was also surprised the didn’t go for points. Even if the kick is missed it wastes time and we get the ball kicked back to us.
-
Hard to feel anything other than an overwhelming sadness at the entire situation right now...
A piece of me genuinely believes that if we'd been playing as well as we can play for the last season or so we wouldn't be in this situation.
But it is what it is.
-

With that amount of time left, and with a man down, we should have been playing as much as possible with the ball in the Saints half. We just needed to execute the line out properly and keep the ball until we scored. If we had converted the penalty instead we would be facing a kick off and play in our half.
We did go for the posts with 3 minutes remaining to go 8 up, which was the correct decision. However we made another bollocks of the restart and gift a try.

Just back in. Much better ball in hand. Carr, Atkinson, Willis superb. But how we lose that is beyond me and it’s just not good enough. Restarts killed us. Try just before half time killed us. And even with all that we had to see out 30 seconds and couldn’t. Analysis is fine but the fact is we’re just not good enough. We had the game won 4 times and found ways of losing. Opposing teams must love playing us - there is literally no scenario where they are beaten.

+1 It just seemed inevitabkle.

Just home after a good run. Can't say the mood was good though. 3 minutes to go and two scores ahead. Brain farts everywhere. Thought generally the ref was fair. Atkinson should pick up a new club easily. Plus points were Nizaam, Jack, Jacob until he offered himself up for an 8 week ban. Thought Mills (whole match!!!) and Burger worked well. Josh tried his normal best. Hislop was rather good. Slightly puzzled when Frosty came on for Curran. Oh well at least the Mill was open for coffee after the match. Quite a good way to say bye bye to the stadium!!
-
Hopefully that won’t be the case Neils. Lots to happen yet.

I think Curran had taken a head knock. He looked groggy and was having treatment. Frosty came on so Gaby could go in the back row. Correct me if I am wrong.

Probably correct and makes sense. Will watch back tomorrow. Just watched LoL try to dig himself out of the hole he apparently dug on the match coverage.
