Title: Kyle Eastmond retires

Former Wasp (plus Bath, Leiscester and various RL teams) Kyle has hung uop his boots after "losing the passion".

A bit like Cips, never really seemed to settle in one place. Although perhaps he would have stuck at Bath if Ford hadn't of left prior to him signing a new contract before he came to us.

A slightly unconventional 12 in the modern game (i.e. was neither a line-breaking monster nor a second kicking option albeit could a decent playmaker), had flashes of brilliance with us and I was genuinely sorry to see him leave even if we weren't getting great value out of him.

I hope he doesn’t regret retiring and try to make a comeback when is too late.

No doubt that he was talented.

Hopefully he has managed to save a few bob to fund the next stage of his career.

Some of my favourite memories during the 2016/17 and 2017/18 seasons involve Eastmond. Simultaneously injury prone and ill disciplined at times.... He could be fantastic at times and glad he played for us. Shame he's retiring.

Players who have played alongside him have always spoke very highly of him...and his rugby intelligence.

Shame to see him leave his sport early doors.

I was sorry to see Kyle leave. I liked him a lot. One tough cookie.

My overriding memory of watching him play for Wasps is how hard he tackled.
