Wasps Rugby Discussion / Re: Jack pleads his case
« on: October 11, 2023, 11:15:25 AM »
I know as an Englishman Jack would love to play and deserves play for England but under the current shorted sighted setup I believe he is not one of the chosen ones, I believe he is better off staying in France and enjoying himself rather than hoping he might be picked for one of the lesser nations or if someone is injured.

Billy V states in the papers this morning that England are the bad guys of the world cup but " WE DON'T CARE", what absolute arrogance, he should ask himself why, is it because they are a second rate team led by an over ratted captain and coached by a sub standard coaching team who play such bloody awful turgid Rugby, another question who in the England set up would have a place in one of the top 4 sides certainly not Billy V.

what the hell are Fiji doing, has Eddie slipped them a mill or a Mikey Fin, I've never seen Fiji  play like this, they need a good kick up the ass for the 2nd half or Eddy gets through by default.

Wasps Rugby Discussion / England vs Argentina
« on: September 10, 2023, 11:32:56 AM »
So we now know borewicks cunning plan, play 2 wingers who are too slow, doesn't matter we won't be using them, a fullback who can only catch, that's ok we won't be attacking, play the 2nd best flanker who hasn't played for ages and tell him to get sent off in the first 10 min., so we can tell everybody we had to play boring rugby because we were down to 14 and then bore Argentina into giving away many many penalty's,
My god if you read the comments on other sites this is the second coming and Ford is the baby Jesus.

Yes very entertaining game, bit to much ping pong but first game so lots of nerves, saw a picture of George Ford in the paper today and guess what, yes , he was kicking a ball, a lot to look forward to, NOT.

It wasn't only EJ though, SL before him wouldn't touch Cipps or Wade with barge poll and B Ashton wasn't much better, this problem with dull, safety first rugby go's back a long long time.

Any player (including academy players) moving outside that system would be a pariah, as would the club, and any sponsor of that club.
That sounds like the old Union vs League days, that didn't work out to well in the end.

SA are being tested as they crossed over the white powder so many times yesterday, the RFU need to find out if the SA players have been affected before they will allow English players to cross over the white powder.

Wasps Rugby Discussion / NZ VS SA

Watched a strange game last night, players were running very fast and throwing an oval ball to each other and players from mostly one team kept crossing a white line and putting the ball thing on the grass, anyone know what this game is called and don't tell me it's Rugby because I will be watching England this afternoon so I know it's not because England play Rugby and it's nothing like the game I watched.

what a bunch of second rate players, beat wales by 2 points and  think their the bees knees, OF a liability, the only player with any credit and it pains me to say it was Elliot Daly
