Great news for him. A couple of years out of the England picture, but may be in prime form to come back in time for 2027!

Given the various parts of the relationship between England team, the RFU & the PRL are all up for discussion & re-drafting soon, it may very well not be the end of his career. I can't see those rules staying as they are, things have moved on, players are moving abroad to earn a living & the PRL are going to have to accept it.
