Sounds like Mills I reckon.

I would agree, the glowing 'underrated' comments from Dobbie, tell me it is his best mate Mills, I hope so!

Happy with that.

Does this signify a leaver though? - and who?

Numerically more of a replacement for Searle maybe?

Can't say as I've seen him play more than a few times, but from the glowing praise he's received on here, seems like a very good signing and the quote from him, "I know the quality of player and personnel that I'll be joining", perhaps hints that the coaching staff situation is all resolved with a positive outcome? Speculation I know, but got to look for positives....

Not sure we can take much from what Mills says, but obtaining a signing prior to coaching being announced is interesting.

Saints, who were in a similar situation a few seasons ago, announced Naiyaravoro and other key players after Boyd arrived. Biggar was at the start of Mallinder's last season, before he left and Boyd arrived.

Obtaining signings shows they have some confidence in the club, therefore management might be closer to completing a new Confirmed structure.

Quality player, excellent 12...for me one of the best English 12's in the prem...what a signing.

Good quality signing.

Interesting to note that the destination of Lozowski hasn’t yet been confirmed.

Speculation suggests he isn’t going to Sale as they have Van Rensburg, the two James brothers and are about to announce Sam Hill from Exeter.

Bath have just signed Redpath to play alongside JOnathon Joseph and a number of decent squad centres.

I’m probably being greedy but is he on his way back to Wasps?

As a 13 I'd happily take him. Also as a 12.

If we lose JDJ and Sopps, Mills and Loz would be smart signings.

If Loz comes here who'd he replace?

I'm going back on what I've said a few weeks ago.... I would like to keep Sops.... If Loz is coming here it would get quite overcrowded...

It seems unlikely now we've signed Mills but as you've posted it as a fact can you tell us how you've gained this knowledge?

Apologies I was talking hypothetically, Steve from Cov brought it up.

I don't think he's coming either and on current form would like Sops to stay.

This is a quality signing for me. Right where we need it. I've been impressed with Mills every time I've seen him. Might get a close look at him on the 28th. Assuming we retain everyone I reckon we probably already have all we need for next year - assuming JG plays on. Really happy with this one.

While i'm with you this is a bit of a fantasy football situation...If you can only keep a decent large apple in your basket or alternatively 2 smaller sized apples that are just as tasty, if not tastier, something has to give as they won't all fit and more is better.
I'm in the 2 apples camp...

Think it's because it's all based on dreaming rather than genuine rumours.

When was the last time someone signed for Wasps thinking it would improve their chances of an international call up?

I didn't watch the game and the yellow wasn't great ( may have been the right choice though), but Mills had some very nice touches in just about everything wuss did well in the extended highlights.

Yep, the yellow was more than likely a try saving action a long way from the try line. One person's cynical play is another's clever play. In any case, at least is wasn't a silly pentaly.

Funny how people see things differently, and admittedly, I just watched the whole game with a focus on Mills, but some Wuss supporters think he went missing in attack. Almost every good run/break/half break they had, had a Mills pass within 2 passes of it happening. Seemed to play 10 more than their 10 did, and looked very comfortable there. Much like Wasps interchange the 10 and 12, he'll have no problem there. I'd basically say he seemed like a slightly less agile, but more physical, version of Gopps. No bad thing. Had some good effect in the breakdown too, including one pushover turnover.

I see Mills as as close a like for like back up / longer term replacement for Gopps.  Although Gopps looks like he could continue playing well into his 40s, so Mills may have a long wait!! :)
