Wasps Rugby Discussion / Re: BB Breaking - Announcements
« on: October 19, 2022, 08:15:32 AM »
The Midland Hurricanes (last year Coventry Bears RL) are playing at Portway this season with the plan of moving to the Alexander Stadium at Perry barr.
It's a long shot.

Alex will always be an athletics stadium  meaning a permanent running track and long jump area etc.  Any rugby crowd would sitting a mile away from the pitch

I'm hearing that our game at Exeter is off.

Nice to see Minozzi back.

Personally would prefer Tom and Alfie to swap positions.

Teams will be up in around 15 mins, providing that the games go ahead.

Football is off. May be a precedent for canceling this weekend's rugby too?

Interesting. With the back row stocked as it is, and four hookers on the books I wonder where he'll fit in.

12 or 13? 8) 8) 8)

But what we really need is a fullback.

As a Wasps fan - welcome home AJ.

As a community coach at Moseley - sad to see you leave.

All the best to you.

Well done Wasps. Have to admit though, l was starting to shout at Porter again right at the end! We had to really scrap to see it out.

Don't forget TCUP. Will Porter forgot it and made a bollocks of a tap penalty that we didn't need to do.

I was assuming at that point Will had come on, not to play a smart team game, but with a mindset to prove he can be as dynamic as Dan. Totally unnecessary.

Makes me wonder what might have been if Dan stayed on.

I like Will Porter but since he's come on I feel we've lost our edge compared to how Dan was martialing things.

Hougaard having a good game. A couple of timely tackles, one of them try saving, looking for work and quick with ball in hand.

And he's in again!!!

Loving our defence at the moment. We look so much more coordinated since overcoming the worst of our injury crises.
