This is the end of a ritual during my car journey to the Ricoh. Everytime we hit the M42 my six year old always asks "Is AJ playing today?"

It's a third code.

Possibly confusing for NH v SH internationals? Players will need to observe different rules when switching between playing club rugby to playing internationals.

Ben Vellacott and Callum Sirker continue their rehabilitation from ACL reconstruction surgery

When was Sirker crocked? I thought he was out on loan?

BBC report states Kibirige is now Premiership's leading try scorer.

11632 peoples.

Friday night unfortunately.

I would be there but I attend with my six year old and he's too young for night games at the moment. He's already tucked up in bed. Can't wait to tell him the score in the morning. :)

EDIT: And into mid-table too!!!

I thought we were bad enough last season but this season we seem to be determined to plummet to new depths.

Our defence has more holes in it than my kitchen cullender.

However I can't see what many of the questions have as relevance to British Citizenship. They are purely general knowledge questions and more suited to a pub quiz.

Agree.

21/24. And one of those incorrect answers was because I didn't realise I had to click two answers, not just one. Must learn to read questions properly.

Wasps Rugby Discussion / Re: EA's Docked a further 70 points

I'm a little suspicious of this. Has some fudge gone on that means successive seasons of breach have all been penalised in one season? For me that gets it all out the way in one go. I'd have liked to have seen the down for the same amount of seasons they breached.

My thoughts too. A number of Sarries fans on their forum expressing disgust and contempt in the most vehement terms for the PRL and all other clubs for this additional slight on their club. But I can't help feeling they're now getting off lightly as they'll be no points penalty carried over to their next premiership season. Also, I'm reading several reports regards the two years compliance to the cap required for promotion back to the premiership now being waved away.

EA fans accuse others of making up the rules on the fly in order to further punish them. All I see is rules being made up on the fly to ensure on-going penalties are removed and paving the way for EA's immediate return from the Championship.

Wasps Rugby Discussion / Re: Still angry

On the subject of being still angry: I was seriously disappointed that last night's Channel 5 Premiership Highlights still shows the EAs celebrating their premiership title win at the start of the programme and again at the lead back in after each commercial break. I'd have though the programme makers would have thought it prudent to change that footage.

My mom will be pleased. My six year old trains on an artificial pitch on Sunday mornings after which we go straight to my mom's for a Sunday dinner.  My lad takes his kit off when we arrive and those little black bits get absolutely everywhere.

Good to see the cheating being addressed, but their titles should have been stripped too as they were won on the back of cheating.

Also, certain players now have established businesses in partnership with Wray. They will presumably continue to financially benefit from this and those benefits still not be counted as part of their club salaries within the cap?

The league season is about to start and still no news?

Does anyone know if there's a confirmed time-scale for the enquiry?

Looks like clubs and fans hoping to kick off on something approaching a level playing field are going to be left disappointed again, allegedly.

Well, it seems the standard of our defending is as appalling as last season; and too many handling errors and silly penalties too. I imagine Dai's not happy.

Yes, I know its not the core of the first team and I know these players need to gel, but still I would expect kids on a Sunday morning run out to defend more competently.

The scrum looked strong, line outs were well executed and some encouraging phases.

Hoping for better things going forward.
