If they are quick about the deduction that puts Sarries in the relegation fight. All we need then ins an adverse fluctuation in BitCoin or FTSE100 values to distract the players whilst they manage their portfolios and whoosh through the trapdoor.

He has converted it to equity so it is writing off a debt to himself. He was no more likely to get it back from Sarries via his ownership vehicle then he is directly from Sarries, so might as well make the books look better.

It is all OK, according to the official site:
"It’s yet another big Gallagher Premiership clash as Wasps look to fight for their place in the top half of the table while Worcester try to avoid the dreaded drop in Round 18."
So we're safe.

I think (on 15th re-read) it just means that any existing agreement will continue, so a renewal will not happen.

I had the same email on Friday, then this morning received this one:

Dear Customer,

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING YOUR ZEBRA FINANCE APPLICATION

We are writing to you in relation to your Zebra Finance Limited (Zebra) credit agreement.

You may have seen in the media that Zebra Finance Ltd is no longer able to offer credit to new or existing customers due to the actions of Raphaels Bank who have withdrawn from funding as a result of their difficulties with the Bank of England.

This email is to advise you that if you are an existing Zebra customer or you have recently taken out a credit agreement with Zebra which has been signed and completed, nothing has changed and that your credit agreement is still live and should be paid as normal on a monthly basis through your Direct Debit. Zebra will continue to operate as before in terms of the servicing and administration of your account and the telephone numbers and contact details are exactly as before.

All payments must continue to be made in line with your terms and conditions.

Kind Regards

Peter Fletcher
Zebra Finance Limited

Did anyone notice what happened to the bench that Tommy Taylor, Marcus Watson, Ben Morris et.al. were sitting on? In all of the on pitch excitement I must have missed something because next time I looked the picture had changed to them all sitting on the grass and what looked like a pile of wood behind them.

Great match, a lot of promising players coming through.

Jannie de Beer showed they could be quite useful in 1999, and there was quite an exciting one in 2003 if I recall correctly. Perhaps they will come back into fashion.

Excellent article. It has been a bad year, but as someone else pointed out with a couple of results the other way we would be in contention for top 4.

I do find the most depressing thing is not the losing (bad though that is) but the manner in which we throw away results with headless moments from experienced players (e.g. WLR kicking possession away and 2 minutes later we concede a try). But, there is a lot to be positive about and you summed it up excellently. Thank you.

I think my decision is between Ash and Tom Cruse.

+1

Excellent news, he has been a great for us.

"Certainly somebody like Shaun would be a fantastic statement" followed by "But if it's not Shaun, we would still be in the market to looking to improve what we've got."

Hopefully he is just being coy and the "like" and "but" are red herrings.

Probably has an under-12 lined up to be an apprentice and go to Japan for experience instead.

Some people were always gonna hate him for not being Cips.

This was one of my favourite moments in the recent history of the club, the only thing that came close was Jimmy's last minute kick against Chiefs to win the QF.

Excellent, though Di should control his emotions a bit better.

A sad indictment, the dog heard the theme tune for the European Cup and skulked off with his head down to hide in another office. Probably thinking "more %^&^* rugby so my dreams of walkies are dashed"
