Title: PRTV for £50
Post by: bigad82 on August 20, 2022, 09:15:46 AM
They are offering season members of clubs 50% off with a code sent by individual clubs.
It seems like a mighty fine deal to me.

That’s a really good offer. I’m a wasps STH and haven’t received anything on this - have other Wasps STHs already received their codes?

Not yet maybe you receive it with any sort of members packs they are doing this year.

It’s not actually that good a deal if you are a STH and have BT Sport. As a STH I will attend all PR home games. I suspect 3 maybe 4 away games will be on BT Sport so the £50 pass may allow access to 8 games maybe less. You can get a game by game pass for £5 a game. It might be just a good deal if you don’t have BT sport but even then only just.

Absolutely with you there Laterontoday.  I initially thought a season pass was £50 so the 50% off deal would make it £25, which is worthwhile.  But as a STH and likely to go to the Quins, Irish and Bath away games as a minimum and have BTSport, it's unlikely our household would get £50 of value out of it.  Paying ad-hoc seems to make sense for non-televised away games that we're not at.

Mind you, for a non-STH and non-BT Sport subscriber £50 to be able to watch all games their team plays in the season, live, is a bargain.
