Really interesting comment about the noise in the ground and how wasps seem more up for it. I wonder if BT is playing the fake crowd noise to try and drown out and swearing the mics may pick up. They only had to apologise once yesterday.

Bit sad we didn't go for the corner there. Nice healthy lead try for the bonus point.

Congrats enjoy the lock down/ paternity leave. My wife gave birth to our little girl a month ago, just prior to lock down. Has made paternity leave as a freelance so much easier.

I wonder if Ed Slater (who never wanted to be transfered to Glaws in a swap deal that saw May go the other way) gets to go back to Tigers.

Hes already put a post on twitter saying that he is staying at Glaws.

I tried to make a post all the same lines but it wouldn't allow me. I am co afflicted to two fronts of what approach we should do.  But trying to get into the top 6 should be minimum of our aims at this point.

I have seen tweets that can confirm that this is true. However all the regs are supposedly being looked into at present.

That's the link to the tweet.

Wasps Rugby Discussion / The rest of the season

So now that Sarries have been confirmed to be relegated and the battle for relegation is over how do people feel is beat for us to rebuild.

Last year was a horrid year as has been said multiple times. Do we allow Dai the time to try younger players and the academy in premiership games now to get the experience? Or do we try to get our senior players who dont seem to be match fit and who are lacking confidence back to form?

What are the thoughts.

"Over the next 12, 24 or 36 months, you’re going to see more players who represent Wales slowly drifting back to Wales. That can only be good for the clubs and Wales"

Interesting statement statement to make. How can players who have never played or represented Wales in any age group come back to Wales...

There already is one. Law 15.17 when the ball becomes playable and the ref calls use it you have 5 secs, otherwise a scrum is awarded. Just no ref will ever blow up for it. Just like no ref will blow for players going off their feet at the ruck.  Something which did actually happen on Saturday much to my surprise!

Edit: here is the actual wording of the law
'When the ball has been clearly won by a team at the ruck, and is available to be played, the referee calls “use it”, after which the ball must be played away from the ruck within five seconds. Sanction: Scrum.'

I hope we are going to offer these guys longer than a 2 year or these silly 2+1 year contracts. We need to give the squad a sense that they are safe to grow and work hard for the club. I know they look like they are all doing that already but it never helps anyone in life if your worrying about what's going to happen if you make a mistake.
