With Wasps identifying him at Loughborough and transforming him from a 3rd choice Uni fly half to promising Premiership lock it would have been nice to see him develop his career further at Wasps but that's professional sport these days. I wish him well wherever he ends up playing.

Don't get me wrong I'd like to have seen him stay and develop but his performances last season weren't as stellar as has previously been implied. A big leap from where he came from - yes, granted, but not great on their own merits. One thing is for sure if Rowlands now goes we'll need recruitment in excess of Edwards and Douglas.

I agree with you. An offer from Toulouse would be hard to turn down but how much game time will he get.

Am I right in thinking he's the only French player in the EPL?

2 seasons ago he was playing for Loughborough Uni 5ths.. the mind boggles.

Very much my feelings. The lad needs game time, which we certainly can offer. One more season here would gave been ideal for him imv, switching to a different league at such an early stage in development might not work.
