Think it’s slipped under the radar somewhat, but Ben Youngs is out for the rest of the season with a shoulder injury that’s had surgery.
I’ve heard he should make the World Cup but you never know.
With Dan out injured too and also no known return date, does Eddie’s scrum half system backfire?
With the 6 nations being (somewhat) successful due to Youngs’ kicking game, would his unavailability result in a new game plan being needed?

Step forward Richard Wigglesworth ?

Was Ben Youngs' operation as a result of a recent injury or something that had been niggling him for some time and needed sorting before the WC?
Maybe his brother torpedoed into him back at the family farm or something?

"The 29-year-old underwent surgery on his shoulder last week after suffering the injury while with England during the Six Nations." reported on Sky Sports News. Training?

You’d have thought that if it was a niggle that needed to be sorted before the World Cup it would’ve been done a month ago to give him the most time to recover

I wonder if Tigers would have preferred him to have had the operation after the season but the RFU medics over-ruled to give him enough time to recover for the WC?
