From the reporting of the games, the manner in which they were won seemed encouraging. Mind you, the thumping win was vs Doncaster and we've regularly seen the disparity between the Championship and Premiership Rugby Teams even for the likes of us who were in the bottom half of the table.

Our defence didn't rest on it's laurels and we nilled them.

I would tend to agree. A really tough match for Wasps to kick off the season. But, that is the Prem as it stands. No easy matches.

We actually have a really tough opening block of fixtures.

What concerns is the number of established players that may well be hors combat this weekend with no real clues as to when they will be fit.
A few weeks ago, Lee was lauding the fact that we would be able to select from virtually the whole squad.
The shadow of last season is looming.
