Adding to the outrageous rumours - could Christian represent USA under the new regulations where ex-internationals can change allegiance if not picked for a few years?

So, how much money is this Wasps are repaying? Is there another loan, another bond, unknown investor or a few million found down the back of the sofa?

Good news of course. And congrats to everyone who invested.

It seems some arrangement has been made so Ireland play England every Paddy's Day weekend. The order we face the rest of the teams seems very similar every year.

I imagine they've budgeted for the fines already.

20 minutes isn't long enough. 40 minutes at least or just leave it as is.

If anyone fancies trying to guess the other 190 players who have scored Premiership Points for Wasps, here's a quizz: https://www.sporcle.com/games/shrekwasp/wasps-premiership-point-scorers

Christian Wade's points total isn't divisible by 5 :o

Is that a mistake or did someone let him take a conversion one time?!

Oh, I wish we had the budget to bring back the ex-Wasps. Piers O'Conor has been great since moving to centre, and Siale Piatau and Charles Piatau would be perfect.

Are there any other ex-Wasps at Bristol?

It's easy to defend metres. A few yards here or there around the halfway line is no bother to a decent defence if they can still disrupt the ruck and prevent quick ball, which the French did every time. I don't think Genge managed an offload after an initial half break or anything else that would potentially stretch a decent defence.

What I really don't understand is that when Eddie came along he said we had no 7's.... And that we needed genuine openside flankers....
So much so, that he brought George Smith in for advice, and then proceeded to provide Haskell with a supposedly limited remit of what he wanted from an openside.

While Haskell didn't become Pocock overnight, he performed well.

So fast forward to now, where's Eddie's desire for an open side?
Curry is at 8 we have a lock at 6 and Underhill at 7.

It's like the complete opposite of looking for 7's

And then the RFU blame the Premiership for England being completely outplayed at the breakdown.

5th last year. 3rd this year. Progress I suppose. Not really solid progress though.

I do sometimes wonder if the RFU old farts actually watch any rugby.

Progress my arse. England have the same win/loss ratio as last year and have scored fewer tries.

Well, indeed. But, just looking at the tables, if England continue progressing at this rate then next year we'll win it!

Brian Moore has written a piece for the Telegraph that seems to suggest England don't have decent players (judging the article by the headline as it's behind a paywall). Can anyone who has access post that up, please?

Was Isiekwe injured after the first couple of games or dropped because of poor form (or dropped on some other whim)?!

It occurred to me in the second half, when the game was still close, that our best attacking option was for the scrum half to fumble the ball at a ruck and knock on a little. Scrum, penalty, 3 points.

He looked very lively in his 5 minutes.
