Just seen on twatter a photo of Biyi in a blue away type kit. Looks good if it is. Trying to find it again - might have been deleted.

No mention of authentic

I bet you that’s it. Hope it is.
-
Yep that is what I saw. Nice.
-
Colour is ok, but the pattern is a bit odd.
-
Not a big hit with me. Biyi looks happy tho'.
-
Is this a slight nod to CCFC in colour and then an attempt to hide it with a sort of camouflage design.
I like it, think I would have preferred white reverse of the home kit but remember Odogwu mentioning the third kit they’re designing will be a white kit inspired by Real Madrid

I can see that being possible.
Those ccfc fans who don't hate Wasps and who attend a couple of games may be more likely to buy a shirt if it's a colour that appeals to them.
Whether it's the right shade of blue is another matter though.
We often argue over shades of gold on our own shirts
-
Blue seems popular for away shirts. Here's Gloucester:
-
Yeah like the blue shirt.
-
Looks good.
Still needs a cotton version for me to buy.
-
No.
Just...no.
-
I was joking with a friend about this that there's probably a rare form of Blue Wasp that was the inspiration. Turns out there is actually a breed of wasp that is blue!

If it is rare does it live in Coventry?
-
No but it was first described in 1867.
-
I've always liked the old blue Kukri one, especially as I won this one many years ago.

Found off course in wrong pub?
-
A true Wasp.

Agree, never been a fan of these odd patterns
-
The new Racing 92 Away kit is certainly "in your eye"
-
I don't know if this is Briz home or away but it makes me dizzy :o :o :o

It is their Euro kit!
-
Still makes me dizzy :)
-
Seasick.
-
OK- away match on Sunday so when will they launch the strip?
Bets on when they announce the team? Or maybe today.
-
Not sure why they haven’t launched it.
Clearly have taken photos of it, obviously no announcement or contractual obligations have to be met and caused a delay as the home kit is already out so very strange.
Maybe we’ll play in the home kit
-
Not sure where they are made but possibly supplies are limited.

Clearly no clash, so don't see why not.
-
These days….do all clubs HAVE to play in their away strip, whether there is a clash or not?
Is all about pushing merch?
If so, that’s a real shame…and kind of dilutes the official brand.
I can’t imagine the All Blacks wanting to play in another colour if there is no colour clash.
It all used to be so simple in the older days..
Wasps would always play in black…unless there was similar opposition.
But I’m not sure what the rules/guidelines/club objectives are these days.
Can anyone enlighten me?

There are all sorts of supply issues for football clubs up and down the leagues. Notts County were fortunate as they got their supplies in early, but they were sold out in a couple of days and aren't expecting any more until after Christmas. I think some PFL and EFL clubs are in a worse position as they haven't had any yet. I suspect the issues are the same for all kit suppliers.

The "away" kit is a relatively recent construct as it always used to be the home team who would change. Away team would rock up with just their standard colours, so if there was a clash it fell upon the home team to dig out the alternate strip.
-
True, in International matches it is the home team that plays in e change strip if there is a clash.
Pretty sure we played in our black kit at Glos last year.

This is a very strange kir launch!!

This is a very strange kir launch!!
No idea what has happened here? Have we just forgotten?
The kit was clearly ready at the time of the home kit launch and team photos so why hasn’t it been shown?
Surely could launch it even if there were none available to buy just yet - very bizarre

There was something else that happened last week. Rather grabbed the headlines.

Clearly I appreciate that, just not sure why it couldn’t have been launched with the home kit.

2 launches, twice the exposure, particularly on social media platforms.

Blue shirt available to pre-order from Tuesday according to Wasps Twatter.
Points to delivery problems methinks.

From Bobby.
Wasps will be wearing their new away shirt today. Uniquely, it has yet to be officially launched.
I understand it was due to go out on Monday but was put back to the end of the week, but following the Queen's death, this was also postponed, so Pudsey used his social media to showcase it for the first time 'officially'.
