Not sure that many Premiership clubs will have budget and/or space within the salary cap to sign Wasps players.

Very sad news. Yes, it’s like a bereavement.

With all the youngsters reaching maturity I really thought we were close to competing at the highest level.

Feel very sorry for all the staff and players.

I think as a club we are in trouble.  I genuinely believe that without Covid we may well have created a business sustainable enough to support the rugby club.  But right now I think that we need a vast amount of money to keep just the business afloat.  I also think that without Derek the chances of us losing the club in order to keep the business going are way too high for my liking.

I'm going to nail my colours to the mast here and say that however this pans out I am deeply grateful to him for what he has done over the last few years.  We wouldn't have had a club without him, and if it turns out we don't have a club in the future it changes nothing. I have had a huge amount of joy from my association with him and the club and I wish there was a way it could continue.

+1. Derek comes across as a very decent bloke and a big Wasps fan. It will be sad to see him moving on.

Coventry City Council have had an excellent relationship with Wasps ever since they first showed interest in the CBS and will be doing what they can to support the club during this difficult period.

Stooke, Koch, Willis and a fit Launchbury today and we would have won by 25 points.

+1

Brave Wasps performance but we ran out steam and experienced players at the end.

Atkinson, Willis, Nemo, Oghre and Jacob all showed up well.

The best team lost today. Gutted.

Got my BT box working thanks to a neighbour lending me a 10m ethernet cable.

Wasps to win with a try bonus point!

Good news. Bold prediction Marley - our forwards look strong and will give our backs some front foot ball.  Can’t wait.

Morning all,
Beautiful morning in Coventry today. Forecast is good for the rest of the day.
Nice to hear so many posters are travelling to the CBS today.
I’d have thought any good financial news would have been revealed by now so I probably share the pessimism of so many supporters.
Two strong squads but I hope we take the game to Saints today and take the win.
Safe travels everyone.
Ps I’d be pleased to see 9k in attendance.

Hoping as many as possible can make Sunday’s game to watch two strong teams.

It’s a pity Tom West isn’t available but our forwards look very strong.

Can’t wait.

Good as he is - I'm not sure we need McGuigan. Oghre, Frost and Cruse are still a fairly formidable trio.

Radwan is someone we should have gone for before we signed Kibirige but he looks for work, has real gas and would finish off our half chances.

Great to see Rodrigo back.

We are going to have a very competitive front row if everyone remains injury free.

Not sure but fairly sure I read that Newcastle's Argentinian centres are both playing tonight.

Not from Wasps, but from someone in a position to have some knowledge (sorry for being vague, it is deliberately so).

What he's hearing is that Wuss (as we already know) are in big trouble, but there's no real concern about Wasps at the moment. Feeling is Wasps will get through this without issue. Also suggested that as Wasps voluntarily started the administration process, that may effect the potential of being relegated too (as in, it won't effect them). Hopefully it doesn't get that far anyway.

It's a shame you have to be vague about the identity of your source, but fully understand your reasons for being so.

Hopefully this is accurate and we can all soon relax a little. Out with my mates last Saturday, several casual chief's supporters and one hardcore Quins supporter among them, they were all curious to know who I'd support if Wasps did perish, I honestly don't know if I could just shift allegiance like that, it really would leave a hole, of sorts, in my life

Yep - real dilemma. After wanting Wasps to win every game since their move to Coventry I'm not sure I would want to find a Premiership club to support. I'd probably become a Cov STH again.

Good game but Tigers forward dominance - driving maul and jackaling - won the game.

Healey talking up Fisalau. Their number 7 was awesome.

Our first half scrum was strong and most of our youngsters played well - many will turn out to be top drawer. Impressive performances by Fisalau, both our half backs and Hartley.

Nothing to worry about really.

Their 10 is having a mare.

Tigers have beefed up their pack but if we can get near parity our backs could win this. More needed from our second row.
