Not so sure about the TMO - Joy Neville? Mind you, she was probably hampered by the television editor not showing her what she needed to see. Brace was OK, as were the ARs.

Delighted to see that Foxtons were well beaten.

La Rochelle are going to be very hard to beat.

From now on, I shall refer to Saracens as Foxtons.

PS Nice one, Skippy. Thanks.

The hoarding behind them - James Timms - refers to a transport firm based in Gloucester.

I agree with DGP about Vunipola. I don't think he's been international standard for some years and he'll likely get turned inside-out by the French pack.
Not keen on Slade either. Would sooner have Marchant at 13.
Delighted that Smith finally gets a start, though it'll be a baptism of fire.

Speculation :

Irish?
Falcons?
Sharks?

Or could it be Saracens? I can only hope!

Westy,
JVP has been learning his trade under Ben Youngs, so no wonder he's so slow.

Backdoc,
I think you'll find we had scored 3 tries inside the first 8 minutes!

Brilliant! Well said that man!
That was my one and only visit to Copthall.

That place reminded me of a rundown late-1950s dog-track, complete with grubby blokes in dirty macs! Still can't get that image out of my mind!

PS That was Will Rowlands' debut game for us.

Not before time, in my view.
As mentioned by WWW on another thread, he was the reason England lost against Scotland.

My grandmother would make a better scrumhalf and she passed way (though not from the base of the breakdown) some 50 years ago.

Youngs has been useless for years.

In other news, OF has announced his retirement to go back to Rugby League.

...
Sorry about that. It must have been the onions.

I see that Reuben Logan (son of Kenny) is listed and also Charlie Myall (any relation to Kearnan, I wonder?)
