Having just got back from the pub I’m still in a ‘did that really happen?mood’ was it really that simple? Did we really negate Earles Hughes and Radarada and others that it seemed too comfortable? Never once did I have a squeaky bum moment .

A complete performance.

That entire squad was down to Dai.

The sad thing is that if we'd got the new blood in as Head Coach that he was trying to get then he'd likely still be with us, and new coaching blood is exactly what has made the difference.

Totally agree.  Yes one or two seem to stand out for separate reasons but it’s getting the  whole balance right.

Morning all , just back from walking the dogs in a bright but breezy Essex.

Woke up and have been feeling remarkably calm ,but after reading your comments can feel the anticipation and excitement starting to rise! Great opening speech Wombles!

Order of the day now is sort out brunch and then get ready for a walk across a couple of fields to the pub . Need to get there relatively early as though there is no premier football, landlord just gives us the controls to sort out the channels which made it very interesting working out the sky red button on previous occasions!

Let’s just hope we don’t give away an early try as has been our wont, and let’s see how high our blood pressure goes if it comes down to a Gopperth kick in the final minute!

Must have been hard for family at that time and a big decision for Tom to sign again.

Oh it sounded like it was owned by local authority or leased from them if there are covenants in place for community use .

3rd option would have been ( if it was being used as much as Jose has indicated) to offer it to local parish council to run it by setting up a sports and social club and be self funding .Sounds a similar usage  and size to village where I live ( no gym but snooker room and squash court along with club house , tennis courts and MUGA ).

As long as you get your interest do you really care?  In 2022 all that’s going to happen is a new bond offering will be made for however much is needed and as long as bait is sufficient someone will bite (some slippery fish in a Barnet pond will be hungry enough).

I would have been happier with Dickson on the field but hopefully he will have input on scrums

Let’s hope he has a lucky black cat
