Wasps Rugby Discussion / Re: Bristol confirmed
« on: October 08, 2020, 09:54:04 PM »
Looking at the sardiines (predictive text but I’m happy to leave it in)site on SN it looks like they want Bristol to win whole thing with bath second and definitely not ourselves or chiefs. Well no surprise there but the the one interesting thing that came up was Pat Lam ruled out a penalty kick/conversion when he was playing for saints against them, which the ref accepted. As he was at Connaught when the ref agreed to their line out after time, I hope whoever is our captain has more of the refs ear

Wasps Rugby Discussion / Re: CCFC alledgedly back in talks on playing at the Ricoh
« on: October 08, 2020, 09:34:04 PM »This development is interesting in that Joy Sepalla, Derek and Andy Street are all involved this time.
Derek wouldn’t be wasting his time in talks with Sisu unless he believed a deal is there to be done.
Who is Andy Street?

Perhaps the survey should have started with Are you a member of the centre /facility ? Surprising how many locals in any area moan when things disappear but don’t actually use the local shop, pub, brothel, library ,village hall or social club. Then wonder why local school or doctors surgery closes because nobody wants to move or live there.

As the announcement was to to be about long term rental of office space ,perhaps we are waiting for outcome of Ccfc talks so a joint Statement can be made about SISU moving head office to the tax haven of Coventry.

At least BB gives possible reasons compared to telegraph!
As has always been said small margins all add up.
Do you think we have been lucky with injuries as well ? Though we have had players out ,not necessarily long term and in areas that have been key or with a competent 2(or 3) to take over.

Interesting article . Hopefully we will keep high tackle issues at the fore, though is it Just me that thinks Already refs are starting to ignore players flying in off feet ?

By concourse I meant the those places in the mall. Have used them outside match days instead of motorway stop .much cleaner and quieter .occasionally spotted player/ coach taking a coffee.

Bit of a bummer for Miller . Starting to get a bit nervous about backs available . Still ,only two games to go before a bit of a rest! Let’s hope our forwards aren’t crocked in coming international’s .

Have the eating places on the concourse been open ? And the casino?
I did think previously that they could have opened the supporters club bar when games were on or even used full time as a standard bar.

It feels wrong to me that the two SA sides have been dropped in favour of those dumped by NZ. I know they are bigger concerns ,but how can any clubs left in ,especially Italian, Scottish,a couple of the welsh and Connaught be confident of being waved goodbye?
Similarly if a England/ France collaboration came about would we be happy if not invited to join?
