Spink getting a lot of minutes for the Force too. Though they are being spanked most weeks.

If anyone is watching the Formula 1 Qualifying and thought Logan Sargeant's fitness coach looks familiar, it's Ben Jacobs.

A blast from the (not so distant) past. Jacobs was such a good player for us.

Watching some of the dross being served up by some clubs makes what happened to us hurt even more (not that we were immune to dross of course, especially the last few seasons)

Wasps Rugby Discussion / Wasps Shop

I notice that the wasps shop has completely disappeared as an entity.

I ordered some stuff from there for Black Friday which never arrived. Did anyone else? Does anyone know what the options might be (just in case Martin Lewis is a Wasps fan and on the forum! ) ?

Cheers

They don't, it's just a conspiracy theory on here rather than confront the reality of the colossal cluster Wasps were making of managing the financial affairs smashing into the iceberg of Covid

No official confirmation but as Hartley is starting in Sarries PRC team this weekend that's probably official

Thanks, Bobby, I always enjoyed your coverage and writing. And it was clear you had a real rapport with the players and coaches too

That's a really tough read. The thing about mortgages never even occurred to me.

One of the most glaring questions is that we'd signed a 34 year old prop on a 3 year deal?

One side etc, but what a fucken mess eh?

I wonder if this the offer that Stephen Vaughan was so happy about before everything went south so quickly?

Bomber starts for Sarries this week, and Frosty and Feyi-Waboso on the bench for Exe.

Has there been an official confirmation for Jack to Toulouse?

Care to expand Peej?

I don't see how the club is viable without a stadium playing in the second tier. I don't see how we could afford the squad we had, or attract the talent we need, to bounce straight back up as a damaged brand, and if we can't go back up players who have short careers won't spend what's left of them with us.

And I don't see how the covid appeal works when we were losing 170k a week for 6 years.

Look, I'd love to be proven wrong. But I don't see much cause for optimism at the minute.

I still don't think there will be a Championship team, and if there is it wont include any of the stars.

Reports in France are that Jack is going to Toulouse.

It's a distinct feeling of a carve-up. You can have A, B and C, you can take D and E, I'll get  F, G and H,  etc, etc.  but maybe we can swop B and C for E .....................................

But is that such a bad thing if it means the players aren't unemployed? It's exactly what they are doing in the US with the two recently disbanded sides.

We've swooped for enough players from relegated clubs in our time.
