I'm against central contracts but if they are introduced they should be limited to players who have a very good chance of playing in the next world cup. Farrell is 32 and whilst I know there have been players older than 36 but they are few and far between and he's no Johnny Sexton.

Farrell isn't even a George Ford let alone a Jonny Sexton.

Currently on viaplay for the Ice hockey. If that goes to Premier then all is good, will just swap. If it isn't then I won't as it needs to be value for my wife.
Not sure what I will do with tnt/bt when it is up fir renewal, save for the fact I won't be watching rugby on it.

My BT went earlier in the year and I find I don't miss it.

I swapped over my BT Sport subscription for a combined Netflix/Amazon Prime subscriptions.

Only thing I miss is the Moto GP

westwaleswasp is correct about number 1, the players haven't got the sense to learn from their previous infringements so without the Ref "coaching" them the games become a boring penalty fest.

For me there's two things that are restricting Rugby from being a better spectacle and that's Penalty Scrums and High Tackles.

The fact that a team consistently gets penalised for not being as strong as their opponents in the scrum is an aberration and kills games.

The players need to understand once and for all that they need to tackle lower the fact that so many of them are still getting carded for high tackles reinforces my first sentence.

So that is it. From 2003, a great win for Japan, two great semi wins, and a peripheral role in a winning team

Sounds a bit like a Monty Python sketch - Yes but apart from ....... what have the Romans done for us?  ;)

He's had a good World Cup record up to 2019 but he's had his day and should now go out to pasture and enjoy his money and family.

A lot of talk he is heading to Wigan RL...

I'll add the words you probably don't want to hear, he could then return to Union ahead of next world cup if wanted by coach.

Please tell me he won't still be blocking the far more talented Marcus Smith from England's Fly Half position?

Don?t think anyone is saying they are going to stop following wasps if the new ground is in Kent,

It looks suspiciously like those that have said "I'm done" do intend to stop following Wasps.

That of course is their prerogative but I think it's strange that there's lots of supporters from my town in North Oxfordshire who travel up
in their cars or on the train to watch Liverpool which is 30 miles further than the proposed ground and Manchester which is 20 miles further.

To put it into perspective I rode on a train to Amsterdam in June and last month rode down to Barcelona via Marseilles on a Vespa Scooter
so I'm hardly going to be put off by a 115 mile 2 hour ride/drive to Kent.

No I won't get a season ticket like I probably would if we had a ground in North Oxford but home games would be cherry picked and it would be special days out and the odd hotel stay.

Great news that the club has these ambitions and we will get to see the team again as looks likely.

I don't like it and if I had my way it would go, along with national anthems and meeting dignitaries and we'd just get on with the game as they do with other matches.

^^^ This. It IS a game.

Exactly, the players and the supporters just want to get on with the game not fanny about.

I too was led to believe Sinners were the healthiest in financial terms of the 10 clubs left.

Nothing surprises me anymore in this game so could be true although I would of put money
on it being Tigers or Falcons next to go.

Probably no need for the win ratio for Borthwick especially as it's out of date now but I've signed nonetheless

I'd like to think the clubs in Prem 2 would not be forced to have a minimum 10K capacity to compete

That would scupper the whole idea in one fell swoop.

Hopefully investment in the clubs would follow once TV rights have been secured.

As for desire, who knows?

Which goes exactly against what the actual Championship sides are saying about their involvement with discussions

Hmmm whom to believe?

Not a difficult choice is it. Time for Sweeney to find another vocation I would say.

Where are you seeing these messages that good news is coming?

The comment was attributed to Scrivener by someone who was speaking to him at an event at the weekend.

Backed up by someone who quoted Dallaglio saying something similar recently too.

I echo above, it would be great if a resurrected Wasps Rugby club had strong links to ex players and coaches but it wouldn't stop me being a supporter if all the staff were new and had no previous links to the club.

I'd be far happier if it wasn't a merged club though.

I think the top four ranked teams are head and shoulders above the rest.

It would be nice if France or Ireland could break the World Cup winning stranglehold from SA and NZ

For a large part of that second half it was Australia attack, Fiji jackal, win a penalty and kick to touch, lose lineout and repeat.

Well done to the Pacific Islanders, lets hope Wales beat the Wallabies
