Thanks for the links..

The offload at about 2.40 honestly has to be one of the best I have ever seen...

Dan and the club just can't catch a break, everytime he is where he needs to be he gets cursed.

Wasps couldn't have any more bad luck if it ordered it on Amazon..we really need Dan back.

If Tuilagi had stayed fit, would Cockerill still be head coach?
Hard to say really. I can't remember what killed Cockerill off - was it results or his relationship with players?
If it was the latter, it may have made no difference.

Wasn't it Mauger that killed him off..Tigers needed a scapegoat for their poor results.

Is it just rumour that he's on £600k?

His current deal is 450k, Tigers have offered a 25% increase, meaning its not quite but pretty close.

Its a gamble..but he can be good..time will tell if its a good or bad gamble.

Manu is staying at Tigers -  https://www.skysports.com/rugby-union/news/12552/11664093/manu-tuilagi-commits-his-future-to-leicester-despite-contract-offer-from-racing

I admit I am pleased to see this - more for England's benefit - but also that Manu has shown loyalty to his club, particularly after the past few years.

No loyalty, staying is a better deal all round, I'd suggest he never intended to  go to France, more like a ruse to get Tigers to pay the whopping 600k he's now on.

He looked more threatening than anyone in black and gold.

Yes but who hasn't  :(

I'll pass on this one personally.

Announced on Offy. A welcome bit of news but we need something bigger.

Such as?

I wasn't impressed with this signing originally but am pleased to have been proven wrong.

We'll definitely be looking over our shoulder now and hope a few results go our way (both in our own games and in others). Gutting that we're finding ourselves in this situation but, hey, you can't win them all.

I'd take winning any  ;D

Make Tigers and Falcons even less palatable doesn't it

Isnt he saying outside top 6? Challenge Cup!!

I wonder when PRL/RFU are going to announce a cancellation of relegation for this season. They're running out of time!

Cynically, I think they'll be fine with Newcastle or Worcester being relegated but if there's a game or two to go and Leicester, Wasps or Northampton are still in the mix there might be a press conference called...

Didn't Geech say there was def relegation this season.

Those listed would survive a year below, Falcons is the worry. That said, I am def against relegation even if my team were to drop.

On current form, if i'm being honest with myself, only Worcs looks a possibility.

This season is over, targeting 6th (is there a 7th still via permutations?) is the target of many on better form than us, so this is a dead rubber season...reset and move on.

Wasps Rugby Discussion / Re: That was Disappointing.

Well, Neal did ok when he came on but was culpable for the first try, biting in on the tackle of the wrong man, which created the overlap and try time...that sort of undid any good stuff he did for me.
TT missing lineouts was a problem and Rowlands today, not a great day at the office. Hampsons cameo was disappointing.
My biggest issue is decision making..both individually and as a team. Who the hell thought it was a good idea to play ball keepie against Falcons of all teams for 2 mins..seriously? Its idiotic at best...and if you are going to do it, commit all your forwards, not just 2 or 3. They just arent behaving like professionals.
I'm not sure the subs would have helped, we don't have many options or game changers available.

Im not sure what the answer is TBH..losing has become a habit. We were a foot in touch, a bad bounce of the ball or a Hammersly toe from scoring 3 tries...its so frustrating.
We desperately need Goppeths leadership.

I give up...if we were the only team on the pitch we'd still lose.
101 what not to do, we do it. We couldn't close a door let alone a game out.

Not sure where we go from here TBH.

Mitigating circumstances perhaps, but they don't change the result.

He's been caught for a couple of clangers..not that he's alone of course. Maybe a refocus is on the cards..who knows.

MLB has been a bit of a turnstile in defence, after a few good showings he went off the boil...
