As I posted on the other site. Remember we were looking at whether Eastgate or Umaga might have to step up or make do with Rob Miller. I suspect this signing came from that time. This type of cross continent signing must take months to come to fruition. I think he was coming whether Danny stays or goes. Dai has always said he discusses matters with his senior players. Probably the question now is will Danny stay and fight for his position and the team. Lima is with Hurricanes who should get to the latter stages of their competition so I don't think he will be part of our pre-season. Bloody hope he doesn't do a Beale on us.

On Ashley being subbed he was subject to at least two periods of attention by the medics and was slowing down greatly. I thought the change to Cruise was ok at the time.

Dismal showing. We can score points but can not defend a lead. Is it coaching or players - or both. We are effectively out of Europe now - yes mathematically we can still hope but we don't deserve it. Time to take stock over the next few weeks to try to get a decent league position.

Just watched our tenants match on the beeb and it looks dreadful either side of the centre line - probably 20 to 30 yards either side. From a tv viewpoint it looks more mud than grass. No time for recovery for tomorrow!

Looked fairly closely last night and it looks a well made heavy cotton oldies style rugby shirt. Unlike the various hooped etc shirts mentioned this is branded UA and I suspect they want it to make sure their name is on a quality product. I resisted purchasing as I keep being reminded of the drawer full of old rarely worn shirts and tops.
