Wasps Rugby Discussion / Re: Not good morning all!
« on: March 15, 2020, 01:48:09 PM »
Hello there. Here is an advice, please destroy immediately the Channel tunnel. Here in France many people continue to shake their hands, to hug themselves (despite nobody does this normally), and of course, too many people are still making 'la bise'. I'm so ashamed of what is supposed to be my country. Moreoever, there is a wind of hell today. I'm not sure I'm going to vote. I'm supposed to do an internship for my MSc... It was already really difficult to find something in France or in the UK, now I think it will be impossible.

There is already a shortage or product in France. It's time to remember the plague. Maybe we should do like thiefs in the dark age, using cider vinegar. I remember my beautiful trip in Somerset where I took the opportunity to move around and to visit nice vinegar farms.

This is absolutely awful. I know a doctor who is entirely destroyed by the idea he will have to make that kind of horrible choice. Very very hard situation.

In France the things are going wrong. It was decided to close every single school from primary schools to universities. This closing has no limit on time actually. In rugby, it seems that the top14 will be cancelled. Here hospitals already lack of material and cancel all surgery. My sister works in a clinic and doctors has been told they would have to choose who will live and who will die. They really expect a nightmare. Retirement homes are closed to visitors, 60,000 people will be concerned by technical unemployment.

@backdoc
Thank you so much for the explanation. I did have the opportunity to watch the full game. I just saw the second half. I agree there was some bad parts with too many failed tackles. What the bad parts of the first half so bad?

This is a very poor tigers team. Beating us by 9 points. On a positive note, Willis continues to turnover at will. YY gone well too. We are getting what we deserve though. Kibirige should have nailed that in my view. Wasn’t a high tackle. Should have slid in well before

The good point is that we are able to score a lot. The only issue is just this is not on the right side of the field.

I agree for Rowlands, what are doing referees??? Kiribige is tackled something like high but this is not obvious. I don't know, I just see that each time we are close to try, they try!

I'm depressed. Tiggers are bad, but we offer a discount on points today.

Here is the highlight of why we shouldn't kick 3 points when we have a penalty in their 22.

I'm very upset by all this time we choose 3 points instead of trying to mark a try. While they had a yellow car, why don't try to mark at least 5 points? Now they are close to our line and still have the opportunity to win the game.

That's why I don't understand why clubs want to hide obvious things. This always leads to many rumours. Of course medias love it, but we will finally now what's as behind this suprinsing change. When I see this, my first thought is that Wasps is a very lucky team. Fan had to support the big trip from London to Coventry, this (too) big and empty ugly Ricoh Arena, and now Dai is taking a step back without explanation.

I agree. We see to many team which change their staff whe things goes really wrong. Maybe I prefer this to be done quietly when there is no emergency at all. We don't know what it is about, but I agree that or today's play is not really good. Finally, thanks to the Sarries... without this affair we would have been fighting at the bottom of the league. By the time where the RFU close the doors to the Championship, I think we must stay in Premiership.

The sad thing (for me) is that I'm experiencing very similar situation with my French team. In Castres, the head coach is a former player who already saved 2 times the club from the proD2, just 3 days before the end. But now, the team is really bad. However, like Dai, Reggiardo is a very nice guy. That's a shame to see those guys without good results.

I strongly hope we'll have more details soon.
