Quite galling (or should that be Gauling) that Farrell is brought on after 45 minutes but when he's playing badly is only taken off at 79 minutes. Galling because if Borthwick had waited then we wouldn't have been left with a forward in the backs getting exposed for two tries.

Were the P shares worth 13-14 million before the clubs voted to hand, whatever it was, 50% or so of TV revenue to CVC?

Looks a nice little stadium for a ground share!

Aren't CCFC building a stadium in Warwick?!

Does Warwick have any top level sports teams? Cricket I suppose. The council might be happy to invite a half decent sports teams to their area of it comes with stadium investment. Edgbaston is in Birmingham after all..

Shame the article doesn't go into what conditions the new Wasps haven't met, other than not signing an agreement saying they agree to the (mysterious) conditions.

How does the RFU elect board members, CEO, etc? Are any of the positions elected by "members" and/or the clubs?

I can't see Championship clubs leaving the RFU but there's a lot more semi-pro and amateur clubs than there are PRL members so if there's scope to elect some anti-PRL executives to the RFU board then I could see the Championship and below clubs organising against the PRL interests. Especially if promotion ends.

Maybe we could ground share with CCFC when they build their new stadium with Warwick University!

Why did Smith get subbed off when SA went down to 14 men? I'd have thought that's when you'd want your best 10 to start stretching the oppositions defence.

Fairly sure he picked an ankle knock

Thanks.

Assuming both Worcester and Wasps are bought/saved but are relegated - what happens to the Championship? They have two relegated teams when they were expecting none. And if the champion doesn't meet Premiership ground standards so can't be promoted then that's three extra teams. Do they have to relegate a team that should have finished in a safe spot?!

Wait, is Geoffrey Boycott complaining about something? The situation must be serious.

Any news from PRL/RFU about whether they're automatically relegated? Hopefully not of course but who knows what those blazers will do!

Presumably that'll have to be cleared up before anyone would agree to buy the club...

I hope they've got something set up to be a bit more proactive in checking on player eligibility. It has been a bit farcical the last few years.
