Shambolic isn?t it. Cov owner seems keen to have a pop at us whenever he can so they can go whistle.

Excellent. A stain on the game.

I?m sure it was Lam who was peddling the lunatic idea of increasing the cap not so long ago.

I?m sure the occasions were only enhanced by his paid non appearance.

My understanding was that it was known about not just by Sarries players but by virtually everyone in the game. It was so blindingly obvious that you?d have had to be incredibly naive not to have known. They were all complicit. They were all cheats.

Agreed. And although it won?t happen they shouldn?t be referred to as ?two time league winner? etc etc.

He?s the accidental owner. I imagine he?s desperate for someone to take it off his hands.

Exeter did even less, which is Wonky?s point.

They took an academy player
, who had never played in a prem game & within a season he was an England international.....
If they had done nothing he would still be a squad player, which, if Wasps hadn't gone under, I suspect he still would be. IMO of course.
Why would that be? I?m not saying Wasps have done more than Exeter. Just that Exeter haven?t done much. He?s obviously a talent but most of his development was pre Wasps in Wales. That?s where the groundwork has been put in.

Wasps Rugby Discussion / So what do we think is happening?

I applaud what those trying to save the club are doing and support the mantra in play that only concrete news will be passed on. But just as an indulgence by uninformed fans for uninformed fans , what do you think the outcome to this period of uncertainty and inactivity will be. Options in play for me appear to be 1) Nothing at all. 2) As a founder member of prem 2 or 3) As a radical new entrant to the URC. What do others think?

It?s sheer lunacy. The worst idea since the 10 team league. Then again, what does the cap matter.

Financial shenanigans from Tigers. Standard. Who knows why they?ve done this. Reduce a future year they were worried about? Glad we?re out of the cesspit of self interest and ego.

Litigation could abound here if these deferrals are allowed. What a mess the game is in.
