Glad to read that, it probably says all that it can at the moment.
Assume the video is clips of the promised documentary.

Yeah very much so. Mix of Kenny and Lol talking. Some reference to coaches and players lined up

Quite an interesting video investigating Australia's decline and how it relates to team cohesion. Not saying I like the idea of central contracts and a team england but having the national team play regularly together and at a small number of clubs seems to make a difference.

Care coming on with England just getting within 1 point and knocking it on summed it all up really.
Far too much aimless kicking. Why ip and under the ball when your between the 10m and the 22.

Looking forward to engalnd getting smashed in the group stages and the RFU making some tough decisions.

The England team represent this country alot more than I'd care too admit. Old top tier nation sinking down the rankings to a tier 2 one.

I have said it before, but creating a 10 team league and stopping promotion and relegation will kill off the professional game.

No-one wants to see the same ?elite? clubs battle it out season after season whilst every other club with ambition is held back.

It seems more clear the RFU need a clean out with a stronger leadership group brought in that controls the whole game in England whilst doing so equitably. This current RFU are poor with money, unbalanced in support and limited in ability (they cannot get a thriving championship going, and given we are one of the strongest rugby playing nations is simply criminal).

The PRL needs to be dissolved and the RFU assume control as their nepotism and navel gazing, whilst inability to manage clubs nefarious actions decisively has bought about these problems.

But doesnt this all stem back to the game turning professional. I was really young so can't remember it happening but I've heard that the RFU fought tooth and nail against the IRB and SANZAR and the FFR to not go professional. So once the decision was made they were on the back foot. And because of that they were out muscled by the owners of the premiership.

Not saying that knowing any of this can change the past but it just seems like history repeating itself.

Paolo in the thick of it

https://twitter.com/SFParisRugby/status/1612408622172213249?t=aL8dC_d0lldp3phafh3efw&s=19

What happened after? I mean, that should have been a red card for the tackle and a penalty try.

I guess the ref bottled it and gave a penalty, no try, and maybe a yellow card?

My mention of the thick of it was more he Is getting his hands on the ball and almost scoring more trys than getting involved in anything dirty.

The hit should have been a red if it wasn't.

Who knows maybe we will be sponsored by Apple and Amazon before they year is out? ;D

But in all seriousness, seems people who know & love the club but also know how to run a business are getting involved and with strong connections to help us resolve some of the challenges we face.

All have helped define and drive businesses and can't be upset with that. Would just be nice to know a little more about what's going on! realise its a big ask but who doesn't want to know!

I wonder if someone has already had the idea to get Amazon on board to create a Netflix style Drive to survive or Disney's Welcome to Wrexham based on our recovery....

Watched it. Apart from that one moment of magic from Van poortvliet it was a pretty horrid affair.

Following my comment earlier and having time to chill, I want put it out there that I would love for people to fight for this club even if that means we are in the championship. I don't know how tough it must be for everyone this evening going home without a job. But I hope if they want to fight for this club that they get a chance.

I just wish I could do something to show how much they mean/ do something to help.

Sounds like HMRC have completely screwed us. Yes we had debts yes they were big yes a bank has screwed us as well. But if we had a payment plan why act this way.

Wasps Rugby Discussion / No big send off

I haven't been fortunate enough to attend many games at the CBS probably count them on one hand. Plus I haven't had much chance to watch rugby with the cost of BTSport. But since my dad took my mum and sister to Loftus Road for a Heineken cup game against Tolouse Wasps have been a part of my life.

I think the saddest part of this whole thing for me is that if this is truly the end there will have been no way to thank our current crop of players. Its like losing a loved one and not being able to say good almost.

Padr of me has been wondering if this was Leicester what would the response be. Would there be a national outcry to save them or would the sharks be circling the same they are doing for us.

News story just released by sky https://news.sky.com/story/former-wasps-chief-spearheads-bid-for-stricken-premiership-rugby-club-12716501 stating David Armstrong is leading a bid. However it looks like it will only go ahead once we have gone into administration and they are already petitioning the RFU to try and stop relegation in that scenario
