I can't see how anyone thinks waiting for us to go into administration is a good thing? Yes you don't have to deal with the debt, but there'll be virtually no assets either, no stadium, likely no P shares, and no premiership place either.

Yes, filed on Tuesday 4th October, so the 17th or 18th would be the deadline. The previous one was filed on a Wednesday, so it may be that the day it is filed is day 1.

So that'd be after the chiefs game. Let's hope there's been an announcement by then, otherwise that'll be huge pressure on the players.

If the 2nd extension was on the 3rd/4th, does that mean Wasps have until the 18th?

Just had it pointed out to me that if Cov Council take the stadium back, there's a rugby stadium that may well have just opened up and will be for sale down the road...

If we go into admin, Coventry Council are going to take the stadium back. They've got an interested buyer (two technically if Wasps are rescued) and the rights to sell the lease again. Why would they have any interest in leaving it with Wasps?

Looks like McDonald is even worse than Launchbury at restarts.

Got to be honest, I struggle to keep up when reffing my son's U10s these days! :)

Pitches keep getting bigger! I'm generally going for long range reffing, or keeping them playing on small pitches "to help with contact skills"....

Fitness for refs needs to be very high. They're expected to get around the pitch like scrum halves, but then also chase every single kick. Their running fitness levels must be insanely high. Doesn't make discriminating against someone who's passed the tests right though.

I think last time I remember Leal reffing us, it was when the old TMO completely pulled his trousers down with Biggar deserving a yellow for a clearout etc. TMO got fired a couple of days after for that.

One advantage with Leal is he'll definitely be able to keep up with the game, he's rapid.

Cruse is going to be 34 this season, not too old for a hooker, but creeping closer. With Oghre and Frost (especially) doing so well, it makes sense to either go big or small, and McGuigan is a top quality hooker.

I guess a good way of describing their knowledge would be a much higher class of rumour than most of us would get :D

Not from Wasps, but from someone in a position to have some knowledge (sorry for being vague, it is deliberately so).

What he's hearing is that Wuss (as we already know) are in big trouble, but there's no real concern about Wasps at the moment. Feeling is Wasps will get through this without issue. Also suggested that as Wasps voluntarily started the administration process, that may effect the potential of being relegated too (as in, it won't effect them). Hopefully it doesn't get that far anyway.

If we'd not been creating anything, and losing, I'd have understood the complaints, but we created loads, just didn't finish it. That's a side that needs a bit more polish, not a complete overhaul.

Umaga has put in a few pinpoint long range passes so far, really well picked, waited for the outside man to commit to Carr before throwing it.

Aren't our debts meant to be something ridiculous in total? Sure the euro millions would cover it, but for how long?
